Social Media Indians - DESIGNATED SHITTING THREAD

I get the impression that India is a fairly prudish society, what with those men asking women to show them their bobs?

Or maybe such men are so socially awkward IRL that they awkwardly hit on women online?

Earlier in the thread it was mentioned because they think that people are loose everywhere else in the world

There isn't really courting or casual social interaction between the sexes in India. Marriage is generally arranged by parents and the kids have little say in the matter. This, combined with easy access to web enabled smart phones, means that Indians behave like autists online because they don't know better.

EDIT: I suppose that the influx of western media which routinely portrays women as sex objects should be mentioned.

I remember watching a documentary about forced marriage in India after a dinner, one friend was repulsed by it, I responded that he shouldn't judge other cultures so easily, I guess I was wrong.

On a more serious note, India has a history of internal-clashes between communities. I remember looking at the wikipedia page which list the events that happened.
The latest Pooout was a riot caused by the conviction of a cult leader (not affiliated to any major religion of the country) after he raped 2 of his female followers near 2002.
Here's the wikipedia list: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_riots_in_India

To people more informed about India's society: what is their positions on Westerners eating beef? Could it also affect why Poos harass western females on social medias?

Beef eating in general is strongly disliked in India. There isn't really a moderating voice in India in regards to religion, so what we regard as extremism is rather common. Pogroms and mob violence over eating beef would be unthinkable in the US because our secular society acts as a moderator. Not so in India, where the hardline Hindus are in poeer, I believe. It would be like if orthodox Jews took over the government and started murdering over people eating bacon.

Your second question is basically an issue of zero social awareness due to cultural differences as I outlined above, and that the mass influx of western media that routinely has women as sex objects to be desired means that horny pajeets assume all women are like in the movies and they act untoward.

Sorry to double post but I saw this making the rounds on Facebook.

This is how little indians learn good manners.

Particularly white women. The stereotype is that westerners have loose morals because we're a lot more accepting of stuff that would be considered outrageous over there.

Yeah, arranged marriages can lead to some real nightmare scenarios. Dowries in particular are a real shitshow.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dowry_death
Dowry deaths are deaths of women who are murdered or driven to suicide by continuous harassment and torture by husbands and in-laws in an effort to extort an increased dowry. Most dowry deaths occur when the young woman, unable to bear the harassment and torture, commits suicide. Most of these suicides are by hanging, poisoning or by fire. Sometimes the woman is killed by setting her on fire by her husband or inlaws ; this is known as "bride burning", and sometimes disguised as suicide or accident. Death by burning of Indian women have been more frequently attributed to dowry conflicts.[9] In dowry deaths, the groom's family is the perpetrator of murder or suicide.

I brought this up to a female friend of mine just to find out that she's getting friend requests on facebook from indian and arab guys pretty regularly. Genuinely didn't know this was such big a thing.

The worst thing is that there's so goddamned many of them and it's only going to be more. They need their own internet or something.
