Why does Tumblr have an obsession with vitiligo?

  • Suicide Girl model and America's Next Top Model contestant have it, spread on Tumblr, that's why.

How the fuck can a Pokédex be gay

As I was looking through my Instagram feed I stumbled upon this picture.
It’s supposed to be Michael from Be More Chill
Michael...what have they done to you?! (First off, again with the Google Image textures. Second, am I the only one who finds it pretty homophobic that the character who is commonly interpreted by fans as being gay is the one they put in dresses?)

Not gonna lie, though, I'd probably wear the McDonald's dress.

Does anyone ever complain about the dudes? Because most of them are attractive husbando bait.

This blog maybe came close to doing so once, but hot guys in skimpy gear (not beefed out, Ken doll-crotched, male power fantasies who just happen to be in a thong) are always a mark of progress for them. In fairness, genuine ones in mainstream games and comics are still a bit of a rarity, so they don't have a chance to do so or a litmus to run against it, I reckon. If it were an anti sexualization-in-general blog, or truly anti double-standards, we'd likely see this.

Since we're on the topic of Brigitte, I can't think of any OW males deliberately designed with "husbando" on the mind. Even with that said, Brigitte reads to me more like "fun female power fantasy" than full-blown waifu. In fact, especially with the later OW females, they feel more like that at the root of their designs. But now that they're at the level of nitpicking characters like her, it does seem like a nice face is scandalous enough to where they could criticize a guy for being too cute/handsome, right?

Whatever keeps the monetization up, I guess.

Some of those beefed out male characters can be kind of hot.( I think Kratos has a good looking body even if he doesn't have the best looking face.) I've seen them make exceptions with pretty faced ladies if their armor completely covers their body and makes them look like they have no figure.

A bit :offtopic: but recently an artist was run off tumblr because the Be More Chill fandom decided she made some of the characters too attractive. I find it funny how they say drawing hair the wrong way makes her bad but they've been guilty of doing the same thing. Anyway here's some art.

This artist has a habit of doing this.
It's Annabeth Chase from PJO.

Oh no! This artist is really good and they're one of the few people who makes animatics that are passable.
Seriously, a bit :offtopic: but most animatics on youtube aren't even really animatics. They're more like slideshows of textless comics.
Update: also, the BMC fandom is awful. Hell, I like musicals as much as the next fag, but musical fandoms are one of the worst fandoms I've come across.

:offtopic: Yeah, I think it started to get really bad after Hamilton came out and then everybody jumped onto the Musical bandwagon. And that meant tumblrites would come dictate what could and couldn't happen in the fandom. I've seen arguments between people about how to draw characters that don't have canon designs. I just listen to the songs and ignore the drama.

"They drew him straight-haired and button-nosed, ignoring his canonical Jewish heritage."
According to Tumblr, all Jewish people are a monolith, and look like the happy merchant.

Gotta love how Tumblrites call the OP antisemite, but at the same time are antisemitic as Hell.
Tumblr has been called out many times by jewish users for being antisemitic and only caring about jews after a nazi did or said something racist and forgeting about/ shit talking them for the rest of the year. Of course, they were ignored right after being showered with "yessssssss queen" and "THIS" over and over again.

It's not surprising to see anyone making fan art of jewish characters having insanely large noses and curley hair. It's no different than how they draw black people like 1930s caricatures and asians in ww2 propaganda.
