Innocent people do kill themselves under pressure, too, it's not exactly all that uncommon really.
However, if you check the common pleas docket, you'll see that the trial was 10 days ago and a Special Plea Court was scheduled for yesterday. I'm guessing he tried to get the case dismissed on basis of insanity or something similar. Based on what he did immediately afterwards, it looks like yesterday's session didn't go all that well for him...

Innocent people do kill themselves. I think we’re pretty certain RC was not one of them.

I didn't say the man was innocent, I just said innocent people kill themselves commonly enough that suicide in itself is no damn evidence of guilt.
According to the news the man confessed (in some form) to the charges 2 years ago already. The court summary also says the man had active bench warrant on him in the end, so apparently he didn't show up in the court but was instead informed about the outcome through his lawyer. He was probably expecting the outcome and planning to off himself unless a miracle happened, and no miracle happened. Game over.
Edit: withdrew some irrelevant offensiveness that was in response to messages that have since been removed.

You see, I happened to notice something really interesting in the actual trial docket, interesting enough to justify dodging a threadban.
Look at that, in addition to all the third degree felony charges for CP possession, there's an extra SECOND DEGREE felony charge for distributing CP (i.e. degree increased due to second offense) ... and it's dated to have happened in January this year. What, really? He got caught sending CP again, just two months ago?

People keep saying there was this constant hate mob targeting RC, but he deactivated his Twitter after the case went public and disappeared from the internet. The amount of people turning his suicide into an ant-SJW political argument is astounding. Do they honestly believe the guy killed himself because people on Twitter may have said bad things to him when they found out he was an honest-to-God pedophile? Furries love to shame eachother but the backlash against RC Fox wasn't even that big and it virtually disappeared a week after he did.
Clearly his death had nothing to do with the court case, backlash he may have gotten IRL or the thought of how he'd be treated in prison. Furries on Twitter killed a pedophile by shaming him to death even though he had already deleted his Twitter account.
If that had an ounce of truth in it half the fandom would have An Hero'ed ages ago.
