Also, everyone at her work knows she's married, she's talked about bringing her husband with her to work parties and stuff. A co-worker deciding to ask a married woman in his office, within 3 months of her start date, to go see a movie with him? And when she turns him down he decides to try again with a different super-blockbuster movie that somehow he thinks she (a metadata librarian in a movie studio) won't have ever heard of?
It's almost like watching a little kid lie, like before they have any idea what a reasonable or believable lie is. "Did you take the cookies?"
Kid, wiping cookie crumbs from mouth: "No, I was just standing here one of my stuffed animals came to life and took them all."
How can someone be so clueless about social interaction as to tell this kind of tall tale as an adult? Is she just fishing for people to call her a liar so she can feel persecuted and righteous?
