His other home is gonna sell for market low at best, due to it having 0 upkeep for almost a decade

Exactly. He's gonna be so fucking salty when he's finally forced to act on his 2 mortgage situation. Whatever happens between now & then will be entertaining for sure, but that's the next story arc I'm really looking forward to. Hoping the writers don't wait till next season to address it. I may continue to watch after then, but when he's full-time streaming from a 1 bedroom apartment I probably won't be as invested in the story.

I don't remember exactly but I think he values the equity in his house as his retirement. Other than that he has said he can't afford a retirement fund. He has also stated that he thinks investments are dumb.

He's going to need to think of something soon because his job isn't like those lazy bones digging ditches or laying bricks. He works hard everyday. His body just can't take the physical demands of sitting on a couch all day and looking at a monitor.

We all know about his bad back but what about his eyes to? Think Phil will start to need glasses because of his job?

He thinks ? Amoebas, being unicellular organisms, dont' have the ability to think, they only stick to something for the rest of their life, or just float without purpose.

Phil >"You require additional pylo... dendrites"<

Not gonna happen

I remember hearing him speaking about education or having as job as something someone should stay away from, im starting to think he really doesnt have a chance of getting a job, no matter what job

I guarantee if he wears glasses he will complain that he got a headache and his eyes were burning or some other excuse. I tried wearing glasses, I really did and it was just horribly painful! Nothing I could do!

He has stated on several occasions that he wants his home value to increase to the point he can borrow against it & use that money to pay off all his CC debt, personal loans & the balance of what he would owe when he sells his underwater cahndo. He has tried to already more than once, but his finances are in such shit condition the bank won't work with him. He has no retirement plan.

Given how much be bitches about his back? Even if he didn't have this chronic aversion to any kind of labor, the most basic jobs would require either lifting stuff in the back of retail or standing around working cash registers and customer service.

He can't do the former if his back is really that bad, nor the latter both because he couldn't stand for long periods and the fact his cognitive ability to deal with difficult situations is non-existent. So many people would come in and make their problems, his problems, and he can't even handle difficult stuff in video games which win or lose, don't impact anything anywhere. Giving him actual responsibility would be instant disaster and piss off the customer base.

His entire "job" plan was to keep this streaming thing going forever - he's noticably short sighted for the most part when it comes to long term planning - and live his own version of success. Ownership being the biggest part since he takes so much pride in owning two homes when he lives well beyond his means to maintain even one.

I would actually love to see the inside of that condo as it stands right now. It's been, like you said, almost a decade and he hasn't even step foot in that place. He better pray to god that none of his neighbors have had any pest problems.

Did phil ever give a reason as to why he doesn't want to turn the camera on during prestream? I want to see him rock back and forth

Or prey it hasn't turned into a homeless shelter. Could have rented his condo out but apparently in phil's head, you can't live in one area while renting property in another. Even though more than have, if not all , of Philadelphia's ghetto is owned by New Yorkers

That's one of the things I find most baffling about him. His supposed Finance "degree" should have at the least taught him about business planning. Even a correspondence course on managing your own business would have helped him immensely if he'd bothered to not buy one of his figurines to pay for it. He's so inept at adulting it's almost sad. Incredibly humorous, but sad nonetheless.

The thing is every other streamer and YouTuber managed to build skills that can still get you a job like video editing, graphic design, social media (yeah its a meme but it can get you a job). As someone pointed out many pages ago, even the fucking irate gamer managed to change paths and become a kids toy video maker on YouTube. Its easy to laugh at him but at least he did something with his skills.

After 10 years Phil doesn't really do video editing nor seem to care about it, doesn't know how to make thumbnails, doesn't know how social media even works (like disabling comments and wondering why your views decrease) doesn't know how to set up electronics (nigga doesn't even know what an AC cord is) and doesn't seem to think its worth the effort to learn.

Yes, there are even jobs where knowing what an AC cord is and knowing how to properly set up electronics could get you a moderately paying job. Not only that, Twitch streaming and "gaming" channels are so numerous now that there are people who are dedicated to offering paid design services for people. I don't know if its a full time career but I'm sure they do multiple things besides that.

The only thing I've seen DSP improve on in the time I've been following him is his ability to make new and better excuses. Instead of spending time when he's not streaming doing something like learning, he doesn't, what he does is this:

The part that really baffles me is that he's not markedly unintelligent, don't get me wrong, everything he says and does is stupid. But it seems like he just got caught in the moment when YouTube came along and has dedicated most of his time to trying to continue making it work.

That he barely takes days off (debatable, I know) isn't a particular selling point because it means you never take the breaks that are necessary to generate new ideas.

He could easily make the same amount of money he does right now by streaming 5 days a week instead of 7, but he just doesn't think that way.
