Hope springs internal.

This is so bad, yet so good ("springs" especially b/c of the construction of some of those things), that I want a "Horrifying Winner" rating or at the very least the ability to hit "Winner" five times. While my knees slammed shut, I actually laughed. 10/10, hope you pun again.

Incoming twitter thread in which Becca will REEEE about how cervical cancer misgendered her because as a true and honnest man she couldn't possibly have a feminine illness and how nature is just transphobic for allowing that.

Good lord, just when I think she can’t make me want to a-log her any harder...

I’m guessing she’s never known anyone with cancer. (And while we’re at it, I’m not convinced she’s ever met a real trans person either).
But yeah, LMK how you would feel rotting from the inside and dying horribly because you didn’t feel like getting a Pap smear.

She'd love the attention of a long, slow cancer in many ways. It's quite sick, but she'd try to use it to fill that gaping hole of need of hers, and no one could ever leave her or drop her as a friend or even disagree with her without her feeling completely justified they're in the wrong for picking on a poor cancer fighter.

Becky could never get cancer. It would take one look at her and say, "Damn, you're way better at sucking the life out of people and draining their will to live than me!"

Seriously. Cancer lies awake at night worrying about getting Becky. Cancer does preventative care to stave off the possibility of Becky, but still lives in constant terror that every harmless polyp will turn out to contain a little knot of blue hairs...

"Don't tell me doctor... anything but that. Oh god... I've got the Big B, haven't I?"

Cancer is very smart, especially cervical cancer. It has spoken to Becky in her sleep and told her that Pap smears are a conspiracy against her. This is while cancer is going to work on her innards, infecting them, metastasizing, going stage 4, becoming inoperable, and preparing her demise!

Basic Becky ignores these possibilities. Because she is "triggered" (this is a word meaning "brainwashed by the cancer monster") into believing that Pap smears are somehow an attack on her nonexistent gender identity.

She will probably die because of this, and all her enemies will laugh.

But she will die proud that she resisted the patriarchy!

What conversation are doctors having where they're in the same room as Becky but not directly taking to her?

When would they say "she" or "he" in this scenario she's provided?

"Becky, I'm going to need she to put her legs in the syrups."
A nurse probably said ma'am once.
