Google did. Google auto-generates subtitles whenever it can for any video uploaded on YouTube.
If you press the closed captions button you get them:

They provide a way for Google to get an idea of what a video is talking about which helps with search engine stuff. They are not 100% accurate subtitles but they work pretty well for a lot of videos.

This can be positive/negative for many reasons, so the uploader has the option of manually removing the auto captions completely or replacing them with their own subtitle file.

So all I did was use a program to download all the subtitle files contained in DSP's prestream playlist. To show exactly how much work that took here's the command line:

Also great how he describes both games. Yes he is kinda right. It's harder to interact in an action game. But we all know why he calls for PUBG and underlines "Interaction". Greed and lazyness.

Yes he does. It's a smart business strategy and I am sure it is deliberate. "let me sit here and talk about how I don't care about drama for two hours guys" The reason he denied any involvement with those PM's is that he wants the attention and drama. But he can't take any credit for doing it himself.

I don't mind people doing commentary on phil. It can actually be sort of entertaining. My issue with it is the quality of it. Not everything he does is a negative newsworthy issue. If you have 100 000 sarcastic tweets about phil in your twitter, you may want to rethink your life.

I understand what you are saying. Some of these things have been repeated ad nauseum. But I for almost two years have dedicated my time to excuse his behavior against my own self interest. And laughing of phil have not been on top of my agenda. I was loyal to him, and would still have been if he had not just completely burned me. I don't know if that excuses what I am doing. I said previously that If I stopped liking phil I would just walk away and find something different to do. I just didn't expect to be burned that hard.

Absolutely true. We've seen time and again that Phil is able to rally his core to support him most during times where the community feels like it's being attacked by outside forces.

All flour has weevil eggs in it. It's just the way the world works. If he lived in most countries they come pre-hatched for your convenience.

You just can't do anything about them. When Mythbusters was testing to see if cockroaches could survive nuclear bombs the only things they couldn't kill with radiation were flour weevils iirc. They're probably the most harmless thing alive. Phil's panic and decontamination story is a massive overreaction.

Yesterday he read a troll tip where the guy said that phil doesn't like PUBG, and phil agree and again confirm that he hates the game, shit on the game (while playing) and just play because he can "interact" with his audience the whole time, whiteout looking to the screen. He also said that PUBG and the battle royale genre is just a fad, and compared to the horror games wave, where "everybody" copy Pewdiepie cam. But when people ask him if he gonna play others games that he doesn't know, he makes fun of them saying that they making game up, just because he never heard of them before.


What's interesting to me is that his "interaction" is so bad, he never acknowledge the chat conversations, he just read what people say directly at him, and never actually make a conversation, he just responds to questions not caring to the opinions of his viewers. When they talking something he doesn't like or know, he ignores or just try to change the subject.

Forgot about KOGaming. One wonders if he had stuck with it how much he could've reduced the production time by now. And some of the videos did provide great TIHYDR material at least he made an effort (his NMS review was easily the worst and he still included a "glitch" in the review even after being told it wasn't one).

. . . you can tell that's the limit of his creativity. He is not begging his viewers for help in creating "hype" for his streams. How hard is it to jump on Steam and check out what's the hottest releases in the indy (re: cheap) scene?

I can already see the question on today's pre-schtreem. "Hi Phil long time fan! As someone who is hearing impaired, I recently noticed captions have been disabled on some of your YT videos. Can you please fix this so I may continue to enjoy your quality content?"

Nothing but all it really shows is that he doesn't hate detractor videos because they take what he says out of context, its because he doesn't like seeing what he has said previously.
