I hope someone is archiving today's pre-stream. Phil is blaming his viewers on everything wrong with his stream.

At some point he claims it hard to interact with chat because sometimes they're talking about things he knows nothing about. Says that if they (chat) wants him to interact with them they need to talk about either the game being played or Phil himself.

Edited: partially ninja'd. Of all the annoying traits Phil has, blaming his viewers is one of the worse.
(fuck. I was going to quote a mod but chat was cleared) It got so bad that one of his mods called him out.

Again, with the "there are no new video games".

When I tuned in he was complaining that there was no one to co-op with. Meanwhile people in chat were offering to play with him and going ignored.

Imagine having to pay in order for you to make the stream entertaining. On a website where you can click the "browse" button at the top and find hundreds of other streamers who are entertaining for free and will interact with you for free.

Dang good point cos this is exactly what happens right now. This guy searches for excuses like a madman to be lazy. And it gets worse every week. I just watched a video where Phil claims he won't play any VR games anymore because then he has this big thing in his face and can't read donations. Just unbelievable. He is incapable of saying: "Hey folks, we play some VR today so I can't read donations today. But you can still help me with my tax money, I appreciate that. Please behave while I am gone in the wild world of VR and I hope we have some fun together!" - Does he gave up on life or what is this shit?!

It's like he owns the world's scamiest business. Where you order a product, pay for the product but don't get any product because the manufacturer doesn't feel like he needs to produce today, then blames the customer for ordering this product in the first place and THEN has the audacity to still advertise the not delivered stuff in his marketing campagne.

Phil, you buffoon! Just do something! Deliver what people want to see! It doesn't matter how you perform with your non existent skills, just deliver the product! People don't pay to hear their names in stream but because they like the content! Deliver the flippin content! Jeeeeez.

He's like a beggar who heard that he can make peanuts of money by excessive starring at a wall. But doesn't realize he actually looks at a poster which explains how you can make big cash as a homeless person. Is this income of peanuts so reliable that he ignores the barking riches? It's just unbelievable.

So it seems like Phil has hit a pretty big slump in his gaming career. If this continues the future of this is how you don't play will be bleak without the many star of the show DSP quitting gaming

Starting at 19:23:29 chat is talking back at Phil. The mod is bethe. At 19:23:57 bethesaurosrex: its not our fault we have chats in here which dont relate to the game sometimes


I was surprised to see bethe defend the chat like that.

:powerlevel: and kind of :offtopic: Until very recently I was capable of watching at least his pre-streams, but I could barely make through the last two, and I tuned out several times. I don't know if Phil is getting worse or if I'm getting to my limit with his BS.

Coincidentally, he talked a LOT about his taxes in those last two streams and placed the burden of solving all of his problems squarely on the chat's shoulders.

Agree, i was in his pre stream or his shoutout. I have a feeling he doesnt care although he is a sub and phil does not understand that he harms view.

Does anyone else feel like Phil wants a break from his streaming career and is complaining more and more to try and get out?

This is what I honestly think too. He's had every opportunity to try different things but won't even do the bare minimum (which doesn't require editing videos, but just playing video games).

TBH if I had been playing video games 6-7 days a week for 10 fucking years I'd be pretty over it.

Well, yeah. They've been his crutch for so long that now the only thing he thinks he has to do is play games. Eventually they will be streaming for him. Probably some type of stupid ass guest spot or something.

As far as Phil trying to get out of streaming, it really doesn't take all of the self sabotage and slow dying. He could quit tomorrow. If he were smart and saved money he could go a few months without a job while he figured thins out but but he's an idiot with too many liabilities.

Phil definitely wants a break. He's begging so much lately because he's trying to scrounge enough money together to go on an actual vacation (not one of his infamous staycations in Seattle) for a few weeks, though obviously he can't flat out say this; his taxes are just a cover. I think if Sea of Thieves doesn't bring in the views or "interaction" he wants, that could be his breaking point.
