/cgl/ is the cosplay and EGL (elegant gothic lolita) board on 4chan. They were the first to discover Pixyteri as a lolcow, with her being to them what CWC was to the /v/ board. Up until discussion on her was banned and the users wanting to make fun of her moved to their own websites. Other frequent threads involve anime or other media convention planning, experiences, and horror stories.

/fa/ is more about fashion stuff in general.

This thread will be used to discuss the boards in question, interesting things posted on them, archives of your favourite threads, or caps of a stray autist spazzing out on people over dumb stuff, because it's 4chan and that happens every once in a while. And so on.

Basically 32 inch waist-chan was some ugly bitch mocking Pixyteri on cgl, particularly picking on PT's claims she has a 32 inch waist. Like the attention whore she is, 32IWC posts this picture:

Saying that Pixyteri doesn't have a 32 inch waist, SHE has a 32 inch waist and this is what it looks like! It all backfired on her and everyone mocked her, exposing more crazy. She made response videos of her trying to defend herself from the cgl "trolls" and "anons". Doing so exposed her Youtube channel which had cringey videos of her singing (described to be a voice of a shredder, and her face the appearance of a Final Fantasy villain), which has been deleted since then. :( At least the screencaps live on. She was a cow in the making...

the only noteworthy people i remember from fa are bladee (used to be one of the only good waywt posters, yung lean's friend) and dangies.

i've never been able to decide if dangies is a cow or a troll or what. he's been involved in all kinda of drama on r9k, sluthate, and some bodybuilding website but i don't really know/care about that stuff enough to go all internet historian on it. heard some funny things tho. these days he seems to hang out in all the usual places old 4chan personas go to die. noteworthy because he was a very prolific waywt poster who bullied all the pasty beanpole nerds on the board pretty relentlessly for years.

IIRC, it's a US 8, isn't it? Not huge by any means but not tiny either.

I wish I had screenshots, but the last time I really browsed any sort of menswear forum was like 2013, and the cool thing back then was to dress like a prospector from 1898. You needed selvedge jeans, the thickest possible denim and they either had to be Naked and Famous or some obscure Japanese brand you never heard of using vintage looms. You were also not allowed to wash them for fear of destroying the sick fadezz.

Some dude paid $500 for a pair of 32oz jeans ("normal" department store jeans are usually 12oz) which stood up by themselves and chafed the skin off his thighs within 20 minutes so he couldn't wear them or resell them.

The filthy jeans people always made me roll my eyes. Freezing clothes does not get the smell out, just makes it slightly less bad. They smelled musty so long they lost the ability to smell their own stench, like people who live in filthy houses don't notice that dusty rotten food smell or cat piss/shit.

Oh man... /cgl/ is rife with some of the most exceptional people. You could probably scroll on there now in the feels thread and just see some autistic garbage being shrieked about.
Even in nicer threads like the draw threads, people can't contain their autism and just HAVE to give unsolicited criticism to any one who posts their outfits.
Not to mention, the constant man hate coming from likely unwanted women. In a lot of respects, /cgl/ is /r9k/ for girls.
Considering that there's already a thread about /pt/ which is heavily populated with gulls, none of this should come as a surprise.

Fortunately, it's not as big of a thing now. In addition to the workwear/1898 prospector trend fading away and super heavy jeans not being as much of a thing, these dumbasses have finally leaned that not washing your jeans drastically shortens their lifespan. The dirt and oils weaken the cotton fibres, and they're always stretched to their max and never have a chance to rebound, which is a recipe for a nasty off-seam blowout. And the last thing you want are your $400 1947 Levi's 501 reproductions blowing out on you as you ride your fixie to the organic food co-op
