"Look I'm not SAYING you're a terrible person if you liked the sexy costumes better, but what kind of terrible person would be okay with including content that leaves other people feeling demeaned and excluded? You don't want to support something that DEMEANS people, do you?"

Fuck off with this concern trolling bullshit. If you really cared about this shit then the sales wouldn't be plummeting, and if you actually read the comics you'd probably wouldn't be including Spiderwoman as an example as a modest costume being less "demeaning" when the last run with her devolved into creepy pregnancy fetish bullshit:

From the cover I assumed that she was in labor, but the baby actually had his spider senses tingling.

Surely this will be a riveting read.

So "Men are attracted to sexiness" is a bad thing? It's rather clear that Mr. Wheeler here has no actual romantic relationships and certainly no hope of ever breeding. "sexiness" = mamalian continuation of the species. It's kinda hard wired in. Railing against it is a social civil and evolutionary dead end. The one thing that gives me hope is fools like this will clearly be the first in line to buy the new "Male Birth Control Pills" and thus step up and voluntarily chemically castrate themselves.

"Men are attracted to sexiness" And women are NOT? What about all the straight/het-leaning bi girls who zoom in at the sight of Nighwing's ass, or all the lesbian/lesbian-leaning bi ladies who go googly-eyed at the sight of Wonder Woman? Do they not exist, huh?

This misogynistic asshole should stop assuming that us women are ~pure and virginal princesses without any libidos~ who should be kept away from anything ~dirty~. Because that's what he is saying underneath all that babble.

That's a lot of verbiage to say, "I'm a gay Puritan."
"You wouldn't like it if male characters got sexualized!" always confuses me. I mean, no because I'm not a prude. If you want to point out cliches then you also have male characters getting their clothes torn off in big fights while women only get some minor injuries because women in danger freaks people out.

But when men are sexualized it's a "male power fantasy" still according to these idiots.

I think that's the same Wheeler who used to write for Comics Alliance, and has written such gems as 'your characters should be default LGBT' and 'let's split all the teams up by whether they're a minority or not and find out which group has the best representation - but ignore any character we can't classify and ignore religion'.

He's a massive, massive virtue-signaller and painful SJW, in other words. As if his tweeting didn't make that clear.

Thoughts?
I think you're focusing too much on his relationship with D&C. You don't need to give so much context to their slapfights, or Comicsgate in general. Just link the thread. You should also include more personal information about him, starting with the fact that his real name isn't Kwanza Osajyefo, it's Marvin Johnson. You should put that in the title. I also think you should try to hunt down more of his social media, with links and archives.

Ditto: Black is enough of a joke to stand on its own. The fact that he made that POS makes him a lolcow.

What women really want are nice, sensitive men with non-threatening bodies. Everyone knows this except the pigs in Hollywood.

It's also bullshit to act as though straight women have no interest in the sexy costumes when there's a clear correlation between sexy costumes and the number of women who cosplay as them. Just look at the number of Harley cosplays that skyrocketed following the Arkham games all the way up to the Suicide Squad movie compared to the handful of women who cosplayed as the classic version. Hell, even before the games and movies it was pretty common to see Harley cosplayers at cons who would tweak their costumes to be sexier.

Most the ones that complain couldn't pull off a sexy Harley though. I mean unless you like your Harley 250+ pounds and stuff.
