I get the feeling they only ever read the threads relevant to their pissing match with the rest of the fandom. That shit is far from the only content we enjoy here at the farms.

I like how Austin spends so much time on here that it's creeping into his speech. Notice how he says "August salt" like the title of a salt mine thread. He comes so close to understanding how this works but until he finally gets it, it's just going to be more confusing self owns like this.

I think this is Austin's logic. He always links to the dictionary definition of trolling and he takes eliciting a reaction as the key element of it, so if people take offense to him he wins. In his mind, a reaction of "that's gross" or "that's stupid" is us totally being owned, when in reality trolls usually are going after people because they're gross and stupid.

Here's another example of Austin coming very close to understanding internet lingo. All caps rants are looked down upon because it looks like angry shouting, but in this case it was part of a meme. Since Austin, with his one track mind, is unable to distinguish between emotions in writing, he's only able to understand that "capital letters=owned" and screencaps that for his tiny Twitter audience because he thinks it's an own. This is what makes talking to him so frustrating, he doesn't understand anything.

It's not "salt" or "trolling" when the focus of mockery is you. You may as well as dip yourself in feces and Schechuan sauce and recite memes from 2016 and then pretend the people laughing at you are in fact just being trolled by you.
