Oh man that is perfectly executed. And hats off to Jim. I don't think Eichenwald could manage to go after that if he tried. Jim did some honest to god investigative journalism there. Everything is backed up by public statements, even and especially court documents and records. He was careful to draw no conclusions beyond those obviously presented in the source materials. No bomb throwing or name calling. He even clearly and intentionally deliberately limited his use of the Fox Tucker Carlson stuff to just enough to build his case, without stepping on Fox's copyrights. Heck any attempts at action by Eichenwald would just make things worse for him. (so of course he's gonna try.)

He hasn't had steady work since Newsweek let him go. Since then he has been "freelancing". Luckily for Kurt, his wife is a doctor of internal medicine, so their household still has a breadwinner at the end of the day. One of my personal theories is that this upset of a financial situation represents something of a humiliating emasculation to Kurt, so he takes out his frustrations by getting into Twitter slapfights where he can still feel like a big man with power and influence over his online following.
