I can't convey it well but Boogie sounds very passive agressive to me here, like he is really fucking mad he gets less views so he casually reminds you to feel sorry for him and fakes a laughter.

You know how it is, if it gets half the views then it means very few people saw it and it could harms the channel, the algorythm might think no one is interested yada yada i'm just terrified THIS IS MY ANXIETY GETTING OUT OF HAND haha ;)

He got weight loss surgery, you can still see entire boxes of cookies mostly eaten and mountain dew in his videos. But those are apparently from "muh friends, muh parties" and not him being a fat fuck.

Remind me why his so-called abuse from his early childhood years is still affecting him in his early 40s? His mother is long dead, and he largely blamed her existence for his weight problems. With her being gone you would think he would turn a new leaf. Nope. 20+ years of back pats and unneeded sympathy. He's a fucking grown man, not a child. God, why can't his fans realize this shit?

Deep seeded trauma can affect people for the rest of their lives; ptsd for example can't be cured.
But boogie exaggerates and milks it for it all it's worth

not to mention for all he said about hating his mom he still visited her when she was sick and went so far as to make a video with her cooking for him. He didn't seem all that upset with her then. Meanwhile someone like Cole Smithey wouldn't even visit his mom's grave to shit on it.

I'm not saying Boogie didn't have an awful childhood but I'm not sure how much of the angst is just generalized rather than because of one person.

He kind of did turn a new leaf, I think the divorce is the new mother. We haven't heard about Mom in a while, but there's hardly a day where he's not dropping some references on Twitter about how horribly the divorce is affecting him. It probably got boring blaming a dead person for all of his failures, it's much more fun guilt tripping somebody who's alive and can be made to feel miserable too.

And we get a video for April Fools' Day:

He talks about feeling so depressed and miserable ever since his surgery/divorce, how it feels like he died there and this is all a dream and he doesn't know who he even is anymore (hilarious multiple personality disorder skits with Francis and Jessy ensue) and how Youtube shits all over him and makes his life even harder and it makes him wonder if being dead might be preferable to his suffering - but don't worry about him people, it's all just a joke, happy April Fools' Day! :)

Never mind that this all sounds very much like his usual self-pitying talk. And never mind that he complained about all of these things in the last videos and on Twitter for real. Word for word.

What the fuck is this? Does he really not realise that half his audience is there for Fat Guy Breaks Shit? The April Fools thing should have been a Francis sketch where someone replaces his Mountain Dew with green tea or something, and he gets mad and breaks stuff. He's fucking p his own extremely basic winning formula for the sake of pity points.

Because he doesn't get legitimate help. He'd rather go to his fans to try and get some sympathy from them rather then go see a legitimate psychiatrist and work out his issues. Had he actually gone to therapy years ago to begin working out his problems, he would likely be a far better and more stable human being.
