Brad's drama is, as others said, very direct and everyday, even in a fucked-up way.

Channel Awesome drama, on average, is years of heel-dragging "They know what they did," which leads to hundreds of forum pages worth of speculation and just as many hours wasted until the truth emerges as something entirely benign or mental.

Brad has TONS of skeletons, especially if you ever followed the Cinema Snob Sucks blog. Difference here is they are all personal within his friend group thing that have never spilled out, so they aren't really big deals. Mostly getting into fights with friends over girls and such.

Brad knows about the blog and even talked to the guy not long after it went up.

It's not so much that Brad is a saint, it's just that the drama that surrounds him is a lot more mild when compared to everything else at CA.

It would be like comparing the crimes of a tax evader to a serial killer.

I dont think it's definitely milder considering he has a past with drug and alcohol abuse. It's just on a different level than the weird shit that goes on with the rest of the CA crew. Unlike the others, he acknowledges it and moves on from there. Something the other people really should take a page from

I know one member of Team Snob, Jerrid, once said some nasty shit about Jillian behind Brad's back and when Brad found out, he had a big argument with him before he made Jerrid leave. At least Brad had the sense to attempt to make amends with him and bury the hatchet.

As for Jake, man that guy turned out to be a gigantic scumbag and had a huge ego. He claimed the videos he appeared in brought in more views than anyone else, which while a pretty douchey thing to say, was nothing in comparison to stealing Brad's girlfriend away from him. As soon as he found out, he immediately broke contact with the both of them.

I just thought I'd drop in and give my two cents.

I find a lot of Doug Walker's videos as the Nostalgia Critic to be quite funny. There were some stupid ones, especially the more recent ones. The more skit based ones with little movie content were the weakest content he's ever produced. The steaming shit crown of course, wasn't one of those. It was a review he did of The Incredible Hulk. It's obvious he didn't like the movie and made an unfunny review of it. That is what made me unsubscribe and I haven't been back since.

:late::late::late::late: I meant to respond like, 30 pages ago, but this is pretty much all I have to contribute.
I met Doug in person when he had an event at a semi-local bookstore, and he talked about some bad movies and signed autographs or took photos. He was surprisingly really nice, seemed sincere and glad to see fans, but definitely awkward as hell. His brother seemed kinda like a douche, however. I don't remember him talking much, but he just gave off that sort of vibe.

I don't think anyone in this thread mentioned it but speculation from our sites autistic 2nd cousin DHI mentions that JewWario could have been the one grooming younger fangirls. If that's the case it would make sense that they aren't naming him as the culprit, like out of some kind of respect for the dead situation.

If Michaud really is that shitty and difficult to reach (and let’s br real, he is) then him asking to skype was probably a last resort to be a bastard to her anyway. If the pot was being stirred already that day, the Lupa (who was already over the shit) was probably heated and being petty in the same way Michaud is known to be.

You must remember no one involved in this shit is really a professional, and apparently at Channel Awesome, no one was expected to be.

In hindsight with all the allegations of people grooming underage fans, that drama gets a new perspective.
Not saying Spoony was one of the people grooming fans or taking advantage of them (while I don't rule that out per se, the way how fucked up he was post Scarlett seems to indicate otherwise, though), but maybe it was around when similar drama was going on and that set Lupa off.

I mean, Lupa might just be a dramaqueen (which I could totally believe), but maybe there's a reason she went ballistic over it even though it was a month old.

And even if the whole "He fired me for not being available within 15 minutes" seems to be a vast exaggeration, it's still ridiculous that he expects to get a hold of her within less than 3 hours and then firing her in a hissyfit when he doesn't. I don't think it's out of her character to engage in some historical revisionism or deliberately try to mislead the public.

She is drama queen. The Spoony shitfest wasn't the last time she'd done something like this. One time she woke up and decided to be mad over re-uploads of her old videos, even though she didn't do shit when Blip died. She started to throw copyright strikes left and right, like Spoony was waving his banhammer after mere mention of Juan. Nasty cockslut was there too. The same evening some of re-uploaders convinced her to chill out and resolve it like civilized people. Then month later she recieved copyright strike herself and shed crocodile tears all day. And who could have thought, some time later she gets mad over re-uploads of her shit again and Linkara is there too. Does this reminds you of some recent events?
