The Flora discord went live just under a year ago.

So Glip got Gapow under their wing while they were still underage, not sure when exactly Gapow joined the IRC though.

Speculation, but that might explain their attitude; Gapow seemed to be the most active mod in the discord, and that might stem from the hero-worship thing. Your idol gives you an important position close to them, it feels good. If he felt it was his fault for everything blowing up, especially if Glip accused or insinuated him of such, of course he'd delete everything and jump ship.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that any or all the members of Glip's inner circle who've come forward to defend them, no matter how old they might be right now, is a sad, lonely kid the RL rape trio had gotten their hooks into when said kid was still in school. Grooming teenagers is what they do, and it's very hard for the kid to realize that's what happened even on cold reflection, never mind while it's still going on. You didn't have a cool adult friend or internet crush: you were being manipulated by a predator. That's not an easy thing to have to realize and come to terms with.

All the best to Gapow, and to everyone else these scumsuckers fucked with. You guys met a predator. That wasn't your fault.

it sounded slightly naive, the way they were talking to me. maybe that's why they were so adamant about me being wrong? they would've been in shock, just like all of the other supporters and mutuals. aw, man. they probably saw glip/marl/eevee as someone that was acting nice, but they had just ended up using them as a sockpuppet and later ditching them. :feels:

Holy shit. The angry fans, locked twitter, maybe closing the discord server (not of now), esc toys removing flora, long time followers leaving and comments removed on flora and forbiddenflora.

Someone close to them check if PK and the others are on suicide watch. No one should go out with a toaster in the bathtub with all 4 of their pet cats.
