DSP's Loan & Savings Company

He seemed pretty laid back in that video where he talks about having just lost his job and going to give being a 'full time YouTuber' a try back when doing this for a living was unheard of. This is a newly unemployed guy with a $1,500/ month mortgage (it has been assumed) plus utilities, car insurance and groceries ( aka take out ).
Is it possible Phil was made redundant at the job, which would include a decent bit of money to tide you over for a short while? He claims that the company was going downhill so it's a possible angle they'd offer redundancy to some employees to try staying afloat.

Desperate much?

The company got a new vice president who restructured the business and got rid of some jobs. Since Phil was unimportant and hired as a favor he was laid off. I doubt they gave him any money, just a corporate email telling him good luck and don't come back.

I still stand by my speculation that his parents helped him buy that CT condo by co-signing the loan, giving him the down payment and then paying the mortgage payments for an uncertain number of months/years after he got laid off. He goes on to buy every new release at $60+/- a pop BEFORE landing his Machinima Pay-per-View contract with seemingly no cares in the world.*
* https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=So7wLuuDiHA Start @8:27 where Phil lost his job, applied for Adsense, lost it, went ot blip.Tv, got kicked, then got picked up by Machinima in March, 2011. All these upheavals and no panic about his fiances. Sept. 2017...Panic! #Safe tha House! with little to no mention of saving the CT Khando. I venture his parents still pay that bill or part of it and THAT is why he doesn't sell, because he can't!

Another possibility is that he just used 5 different credit cards. Gotta build that credit score!

huh. I guess he didn't keep pulling 2k (the goal, that is) out of his ass...

Notice the part that says:
"Annual Statement Requested By: CENTRAL MORTGAGE CO"?

Firstly, mortgage companies usually have an interest in knowing whether property tax is being paid.
Secondly, in most instances the mortgage usually pays these taxes and they're included in the monthly mortgage payments.

It just occurred to me that Phil’s house is cursed. (Nothing he could do!) Remember when he and Leanna first moved in and he said he found a letter stating the previous owners owed thousands of dollars to the IRS? Now Phil will get one of those letters himself soon enough.

Yeah geez I forgot about him opening the previous owners mail. I'm surprised no one sent the video of him saying that to the police, knowing some of the a-logs around here.

LOL Two sheets of paper in a folder as a prop. And right after "we are not discussing this anymore"
Yeah I don't understand that. It's complete fucking bullshit for him to claim he's not gonna bring it up anymore because "tax season is over." Of course he's gonna keep talking (read: whining) about it.

Sorry to digress but the whole thing is absolutely amusing. He is the Ted Bundy of begging/swindle. Always gets away with it, master of delaying the inevitable. He has an aura around him that makes everyone uneasy and some sort of "retard charm". Thinks he is much smarter than he actually is. Master of excuses and shifting the blame.

Only difference; TED BUNDY WAS RIGHT!

One miscellaneous thought about the condo.
  • "Shitty-ass condo"
  • "Cramped"
  • "High taxes"
  • "Unreliable internet"
  • "No studio area"
  • "Muh back; unreasonable snow in the winter"
  • "Muh back; have to carry groceries from the parking lot up the stairs"
Yet Phil had no problem signing on to pay $120,000 for it? Business degree indeed.

It's on to hardcore gamingseason now then? or maybe it is unexpected mortgage down payment season.

In addition to that his "business" was at its peak while in that terrible condo and has been on a steady decline since leaving it. But somehow going back to it would hurt the business.

How do you know it was a scam? Well... he was keep delaying this day (when he knows the number)... he was talking about this since late last year, keep saying "he doesnt know"... and now its april, actual tax season and he can't delay it no more... so he reveals it by REVEALING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. And from now on, you should not talk about it! His lie got too big, so he doesnt wanna talk about it anymore, even tho he still owes a big chucnk of money, sure...

What baffles me is that ever since mid 2017 he said "i have some bad news" and people were saying "taxes" and he would call them liars, until it was actually taxes.... he had basically a year to prepare his money to pay taxes, like always, he creates problems by not addressing them right away, he let them snowball until that ball becomes so big that even the smallest thing can become the biggest problem to him to date
