Man, this shitstorm has been really entertaining to watch.
I used to watch Doug's stuff quite a lot 10 years ago, and even relatively recently I used his videos as background noise while doing other things. I never really would've thought how much of a pussy-ass sperg he really was behind the scenes. I also figured that Michaud was a terrible CEO, but I never imagined he'd be this much of a scumbag. Forbidding Holly to work in the industry for three years? Holy fucking shitsnacks.
I knew Channel Awesome had been dying a slow death ever since To Boldly Flee, but I thought they could at least make it to 10 years. Missed it by that much.
Not that I've visited the actual site much ever since Phelous left, by that time he had become my favorite content creator on the site by far and I still enjoy watching his videos to this day. I'm still curious as to why Brad hasn't jumped ship yet, I know he's friends with Doug and Rob but so many other people who have jumped ship like Lewis were too. I'm convinced Pissed Pablo has entirely forgotten that his content is even hosted on Channel Awesome in the first place, which is the only reason why he's still on the site. I'm guessing MasakoX or ERod is going to be the next one to leave.
On a side note, the last video uploaded on the site was 3 days ago, and it was a "Tamara's Never Seen". A new Nostalgia Critic should be up today (unless they changed his schedule from Tuesday to Wednesday), I wonder if Doug's gonna acknowledge the controversy in any way.

Yeah, at this point why even keep the site open? It's not making money, most of these guys have their own accounts on YouTube, and once some of the last few willing to leave (or Mike removes them) are gone, it's just going to be Doug, Brad, Joe and Larry, assuming either of them don't leave beforehand.

i've actually met him in person multiple times. i can't say he seems like a bad person. quite the opposite in my experience. but i can attest to him having witnessed a bar fight late at night since i was there to witness it too. though in my interactions with him i had some understanding that you shouldn't treat "internet celebrities" like gods but as people.

The management must have worked more this last week then they have in the last 10 years. They'll probably take a long, all expenses paid vacation after this has died down. They'll just force everyone to make 5 cross over videos each during the 10th anniversary special to cover it.

Just a random thought: What if this entire Change the Channel movement is an elaborate ploy and this whole thing culminates in every single CA producer, current and former, coming together for the 10 year anniversary?
