You Know What Grinds My Gears? - Things that personally piss you off

Pretty basic; but just rude people. Like, most of the time - there's no need to be an asshole. If you don't like the human interaction, just keep short, simple and polite.
I had a guy yell at me recently while I was shopping because I said 'excuse me' while he was hogging the whole sandwich isle. When I was like 'bruh, I just wanna grab a sandwich' he was like 'I don't work here!' I said I understood, but, y'know - I need a sandwich (fat fucker was in the ENTIRE way) and the guy reluctantly shoved out of the way while rolling his eyes. Then the dude called me a stupid bitch as I walked off.
Fancy getting that mad over a fucking sandwich.

I can't agree more, it's as if people like this go out of their way to have a bad time in their day to day lives, it's less than trivial to be polite to strangers, it makes your life easier. What kind of disfunctional piece of shit takes "excuse me" as a command as if you somehow suggested you think they're there to serve you? If you don't work here you've got even less reason to be loitering around blocking up the aisles so move it, tubbo.

I guess I'm pretty bitter and grumpy about some things.

1) Shitty drivers. There are the people who drive way too fast and almost crash into you when they cut you off. There's also the kind who go 25 mph when driving on a 60-70 mph freeway. And don't even get me started on the guys who don't even bother using the turn signal and just expect you to know what they're gonna do. They're just all bad.

2) The word "valid". Especially if it's used in sentences like: "You are valid if you breathe/don't shave/like oranges/are LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ/etc. uwu." I guess I just don't understand why it should even matter. To me the word is so over-used these days that it doesn't even mean anything anymore.

3) When parents don't do anything about their screaming children. Especially in movie theaters and small places.

Speaking of retail, get your kids out of the fuckin' way when we get our carts? Thank you!

Hey motherfucker, you'd best stay the fuck out of my way when I stand around in the middle of the aisle and swing this bastard around, I've got some SERIOUS SHOPPING to do

Speaking of retail, people who get angry at and take their frustration out on low level employees piss me off. Whatever your grievance is, it's probably not their fault, and even if it was, it probably wasn't intentional.

I don't even get upset with mangers and owners. I know that shit happens, and I've found that it's much more likely that the situation will reach a satisfactory conclusion if you remain calm and understanding.

I hate when professors or teachers decide to discuss politics when it's got absolutely nothing to do with the subject. I remember after the election, my World Religion professor goes on a speech about "fascism."

Motherfucker, I'm paying something like $8000 to come to your classes and you're wasting them by not teaching the thing you're supposed to teach. If politics has nothing to do with the class, keep your fucking mouth shut.
I remember having to go through an English class in an IT course that wasn't about languages at all, it was about the professor's boner for foreign cultures like Asia and the Middle East. I couldn't help but think "nigga what's this gotta do with computers?"

Recently I was riding the bus and this mom went on the bus (it was getting crowded) and I was stuck sitting next to her and her child who was screaming as if she had been kidnapped. The mom barely did anything to quiet her kid down so of course we had to hear that kid crying until they got off at their stop.

People who say Who Killed Captain Alex is a masterpiece. As a guy who wants to go into film making, saying that WKCA had effort put into it isn’t that much of an accomplishment. Especially when you watch the behind the scenes of a lot of other movies, where it’s clear that the people who worked on a movie put a lot of time and effort into making it good in their eyes. For a film shot and made entirely in Africa, WKCA is impressive from that standpoint. As for the rest of the movie, it’s a fun watch if you watch it the same way you’d watch say, The Room or the Amazing Bulk.

People who leave their shopping carts in the middle of the store parking lot. Also, people who walk off with shopping carts and never bring them back.

Sometimes I'll find carts on the sidewalk outside my neighborhood. There's been times where I'll carry multiple bags across the street because I'll feel guilty at the idea of taking the shopping cart across the street.

Women (it's fucking always women) who live in my apartment complex who bitch about random things but never come out and say that what you're doing is inconveniencing them in some way (because it never is).

Example: I set up a small hibachi grill near one corner of my building today on the lawn because it was windy and I was using the building as a windbreak, and it's still a little snowy/dirty/muddy to just go out innawoods and do it. A couple people asked me not to leave any litter after myself, which I said of course I wouldn't. Halfway through the grilling process some random woman leaving the building made a point of walking by and saying "why are you doing this here, this territory isn't meant for this, etc". When I asked her if I was inconveniencing her in some way, she didn't say anything but just kept going off on how I should set up my grill in the elevator if I want to, and all that shit.

Fucking women, man.
