I didint know about the no roleplaying rule at all, i only thought it was ok to do so was because of seeing accounts made for Sammy and Hulk Hogan in some posts on some Chris Chan topics from last week. But im guessing this rule was recently made?

it has been around for a long time. sammy is legit. hulk hogan is a long time member who will post out of character once in a while. so yes, no gimmick posting.

DarkSydePhil is great because he makes you feel better about yourself when you think you suck at a video game. Friend is getting frustrated because they're not doing as well as they want in RE4? Show them Phil almost dying to the very first bad guy in the game. If DSP actually played with humility and didn't wait until the very end to throw compliments at the game then he'd be more likable... but nobody would know who he is because he's just not that clever or entertaining beyond that. DSP get paid because he creates drama. I think he's aware of this to a certain level but the problem is he's terrible at predicting how badly shit can come back to bite you in the ass when you become a part of a community that is constantly recording and commenting. I'm sure he loved talking shit at tournaments where all he had to worry about was pissing off competitors but do that on the internet with people who have legitimate fanbases? Things are going to get bad and things will bleed into aspects of your life you weren't prepared for.

While I do believe he is aware of drama turning into views I still think he's not very bright, has a huge ego, and is probably oblivious as to how much he sucks at most video games. He also looks like Dante from Clerks after pissing off a hornets nest.

Also in recent events Loophole572 a former DSP fan, and even a few of his OWN fans actually took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and challenged Darksydephil to do the same thing. Here is how it turned out


It's just funny as i see this, as really this just proves how desperate this guy is for views and money. And this video i reuploaded that was made in 2011 actually predicted how narcissistic behavior Phil would have in not even a few years time.


Also if you guys want to see what Darksydephil thinks about users that use Ablock on his Twitchtv streams. This is also extremely funny as well considering that he has admitted in the past he uses adblock himself and also bypasses TV Shows using the same tactics.

There is a joke that runs around in the groups that expose how dumb he is, that we call him DoubleStandardsPhil(D.S.P), meaning he can do whatever he wants, but you should not be allowed to do it because you're stealing from him and hes entitled to your money for barely any effort at all. While were at the effort part, there has been times where he will rant about not being on the top of youtube for his lack of research, lack of editing, lack of being respectful to others, and try to lump himself as the "common gamer" the "common YouTuber trying to make it".

When last time i checked, a common gamer never uses a stream chat to beat a game(or as he likes to call it an interactive adventure), or the common person youtube trying to become popular does edit out their failures, and does not try to exploit the system with 34-50 videos a day to play every new game first to beat everyone to the top search results and be like Bon Jovi living on a prayer hoping their videos go viral to get more views. Unfortunately for Phil there was a time you could get away with this if there wasent much content like back in 2010 and enough lets players, , but today its oversaturation, there are thousands doing exactly what hes doing and they are actually way more talented than him thats one of the reasons why he is on the decline. Hell even Fishplayspokemon gets more attention than he does, and there is not much action going on.

Banning people for using AdBlock is really crazy for a bunch of reasons.

1) Showing contempt for your audience will cause you to lose your audience.
2) Banning someone watching your stream ensures they will not watch your stream, which may also get them to stop watching your YouTube content.
3) Alienating users will kill potential word of mouth advertising, which is the most potent form of advertising.
4) If you're going to use IRL transaction analogies, then it's more like canceling someone's cable because they change channels during the ads.
5) If you're mad that Twitch doesn't pay per view, your frustration should go towards Twitch (who is increasingly showing they are greedy and basically evil) instead of the viewers.
6) Users are in control of what content their browser renders. "Period."

Shit like that pisses me off because it shows not only incompetence, but a genuine disdain for the people that support you. He views his fans as an unfortunately necessary aspect of the Video Game Playing to Income formula.

Little known fact: We have one 250x250 banner on the index page of the forums that's been there since March and has only generated $35. In the last 3 months, the Supporter feature has generated over $600. If you offer services that people want and you make people happy, money will be thrown at you without relying on ads.

Just a small insight on the money mechanics of a web based service.

I knew Phil banned people for using AdBlock but I hadn't seen it in his own words before. Has he ever threatened to withhold his "product"?

lol no, the funny part about all this is Darksydephil was fired from his job in September 2010, and cant afford to withold his product, his entire money is off of Youtube & Twitchtv now, so hes living off the internet literally.

I will give everyone a timeline here on Darksydephil's career so people can catch up to speed, in September 2010, he was fired, when he had massive popularity and his narcissism wasent as bad as it is now. This will be long but this his how DSP's tenure has been.

September 2010 Darksydephil was fired from his job.

He announces it on THEKINGOFHATEHD(which then DSP would create a new channel in 2013 called THEKINGOFHATEVLOGS)


He was on youtube's adsense program a few months later, but he was terminated for telling his fans on his channel to click on the ads on his videos which is illegal because it promotes invalid clicks. As i showed a few replies ago.

He then went over to Blip.Tv and was getting a huge partnership offer, but was also banned there after a few months as well because of his racism in Dead Space 2. Which i will show in the video below.

Someone reported him for his racism on Dead Space 2, and Darksydephil was unsurprisingly banned from the site. But what makes it funny is that he responded to the allegation to the person that actually made a topic on his forum site and told his fans not to support Phil and that this user was the one that reported Phil, Phil blamed that user and called him an internet troll which shows you guys just how delusional and a liar he is when it comes to telling the truth. That somehow if people tell the truth and have evidence they're now trolls and they're awful which makes me laugh about it to this day because he still says he was kicked off of youtube for no reason, and still believes despite evidence proving otherwise on Blip.Tv that he was banned because of a troll. This was in 2011 then in 2011 Darksydephil disbanded his Darksydephil channel(renamed it DSPClassics) and created DSPGaming in 2011.

Which right now his vlogs channel is THEKINGOFHATEVLOGS and his gaming channel is DSPGaming.

After this Darksydephil still retained his fans, because of how popular he was in 2011, and that they believed Phil because the expose videos just were not that viral or good at the time to spread awareness. Phil then had another beef with Hutch of Machinima. Lets look to see how Darksydephil responded to this.



What makes this ironic is that not even a week later after insulting Machinima and saying "thats why im never going to work for those guys" then a week later he joins Machinima and he has been there since 2011, and has tanked since 2012 as well as his viewership,reputation and his overall friends have been closing down to zero, and is evolving into a huger lolcow to the point where it seems like if you check on twitter where he seems to spend a majority of his time. You will see him constantly whine, complain and beg big youtubers to co-op with him. Even though he has mentioned the past 3 years, that he would never do that, and those that do, do it for the money.

Ah, I didn't realise Phil had been fired from his last job. I thought he claims to be unable to have a 'normal' job because of his back problems.

I discovered DSP through the takeover of the #DSPositive hashtag on Twitter so I've seen some of his rants. I see he's bought a 3DS capture card after bashing Nintendo for so long. :roll:

It's no problem, not many people know his history on the internet, because he uploads so many videos a month, it's probably 1/3rd of youtubes server space lol. I guess you were able to see this video last year?


I know it's completely ironic but for Phil his style of uploading 40 ten minute videos a day is killing his viewership, and now hes running out of games, so hes going to try and get the Nintendo audience, which i believe will lead to lower viewership due to what Nintendo fans already know about Darksydephil to begin with.

There were a couple recent expose videos made about his twitter meltdown a few days ago, and trying to get noticed again.



And also i dont remember if i showed everyone, Phils opinion about the people taking the ALS bucket challenge at all, but i'll post this here.

It's against YouTube's ToS to create a YouTube channel when one of your's as been terminated. It was a big issue a few months ago when some larger YouTube gaming channels (GoldGloveTV for example) were reported and then terminated because one of their old channels had been terminated in the past. Phil had better hope something like that doesn't happen to him.

It sounds like the adsense service for his channel was terminated, not his whole channel.

I think what he did was partner both of his channels with Machinima if im not mistaken, and Machinima's Partnership is a lot more lenient than Youtube's Partnership program. This perhaps due to the fact Machinima takes 60% of the pay per each 1k views that have ads on them, and pays youtube for that. Machinima is a Multi-Channel-Network. It's a bit complex, but i hope you understand where im coming from here.

Oddly enough Phil was worried about losing his channel last year, due to Machinima's chances of not picking up Phil's contract again. Because if you look on socialblade his views are less than a 1/3rd of what it use to be, and the vary fact that the popular people on youtube that are on different partnership channels(like for example Totalbiscuit with Polaris which use to be called TheGameStation), Dasboschitt,Northernlion etc do not like Phil at all, and i know they would attempt to circumvent Phil from going on their companies partnership program at all costs. Plus Phil is losing views, and is worried about losing his partnership program, and i know what everyone might say "Why doesent Darksydephil, just get a job and use youtube part time" and the funny part is when people have criticized him in the past about doing that, here is what he has said.



It almost reminds me of OPL in the way he tries to use these excuses for being lazy. He even has his little back injury story, to keep his fans guilt tripped into watching him, which i think makes it sad because as we all know, he could get a job, but like OPL he makes up excuses and it is the last thing he would like to do. Here is a video i made on it.


I find it funny when he says "theres no one hiring" when really in this job market, there are people hiring. Is the economy perfect right now no, but there is enough jobs to where he could make enough money to support himself. But also what makes it ironic is that he says he could afford the back surgery, but then a year later says he cant afford the back surgery, which kind of shows how really awful this guy truly is for guilt tripping his fans in general, he uses this story every chance he gets and constantly talks about how much of a victim he is. When as you see he videos that expose him, he is just a liar and so full of hot air.
