Well, I've been making a fair few posts, but aside from the whole Nick Bate thread I've said very little about myself.

So...my name's Anna (I'd say to call me Acey or Ancani but due to the Nick thing everyone here calls me Anna already, and I'm alright with that), I'm 21, and I like cartoons, reading, and music of pretty much any genre. My dream in life is actually to go into indie comics, though I do recognize that it's a bit of a pipe dream and that I have a long way to go before I'm good enough to even be considered for publication. I'm also an English major, and I think languages in general are incredibly fascinating. Other interests of mine include history, video games, urban folklore (I read Snopes for fun), things that are so bad they're good, fanfiction (often overlapping with the previous point), singing, playing the ukulele (though I'm not very good at it), and cosplaying! Oh, and Chris, of course. He's a fascinating guy, as awful as he is.

Welcome to the forums. It's cool to have you here with us. I would give you a thumbs up, but it seems I'm unable to at the moment. It's cool to see other people who are interested in history, urban legends, and languages.

Started following everything in late 2008, and lurked the shit out of /CWC/ back in the day... the sheer amount of drama on that board...

Longtime lurker, first-time poster. Been following CWC since at least 2008 and it seems like I recall his very first ED page in late 2007. Now I need my lolcow fix on a daily basis and y'all are the best source.

I've been posting here for a bit but never really introduced myself, just wanted to say this is one of friendliest online communities I've come across. It's nice to see somewhere people can have relaxed and thoughtful discussions without being overrun by spergs shit flinging at each other.

You're good people, both the community and the people that run the board do a great job of encouraging good discussion and making it a cool place to chat. Respect.

I'm inclined to agree. In fact, I was genuinely surprised at how nice everyone here is--I remember /cwc/ being a cesspool of sorts, and was actually hesitant to post because I was worried this would be like that, but so far everyone's been perfectly pleasant and friendly, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

It's kind of funny that a site devoted in part to laughing at awful people has such a welcoming and kind community, in a way. But hey, I ain't complaining!

Normally I've been a lurker here (and was prompted to get an account by the recent changes made to the lolcow forum, where I frequent.) I know now that it's a temporary change but I'll probably keep the account. Never know when I might need to post or something. I've known about Chris since he was new to the internet but I didn't start following him until after the Wallflower/Tito saga died down, so...

I dunno how active I'll be but hello all the same!

QFT. The lack of assholes in an environment that almost always leads to cliquish behavior is refreshing. Virtually everyone is pretty approachable and, provided one doesn't ween or A-Log too much, pretty chill.
Hell, the only people who get banned are those who really should be banned, like Peppy and Cranium.

Yo, I'm Abe. I've been lurking as well, and I felt like I wanted to contribute to the discussion about Chris and other cows du'lol. I'm interested in religion, the occult, anthropology and lots and lots of heavy metal. I have 'spergers as well and have an appreciation of the obscure.

I'm interested in pretty much everything Chris-related, starting from all of the sonichu episodes. Speaking of which, could someone please give me a download link, so that I may bask in all their autistic, manchildish glory? Thanks in advance people!

Just wondering if the Alec Benson Leary I see posting here from time to time is the TRUE and HONEST creator of Asperchu or only someone who decided to pick that nick for the fun of it. Just a little curiosity and nothing more :bb:
