Sex seems to be the only thing that actually interests him. He admits that he only sees food as fuel but then does all these food reviews on his channel for like a dozen views.

As you say he used meditation to "hack his brain". He says he succeeded in that it gave him more processing power but he's been unable to "turn off the voices" since then. When pressed on it he admits that he doesn't actually hear any voices but doesn't really go into any detail as to how he managed this feat. But then this is also the same guy that says he's got a throne room in his head where all of his different personalities sit and most of them split apart and recombine into different characters. He'll say something like anger is a wild beast that I have chained up and sometimes, when I'm really angry, that chain breaks and anger sits in the throne. When that happens, watch out! He then tries to pretend like he's super scary during that time. But again when pressed on it, he's ridiculously vague and eventually admits he's just speaking in metaphors.

Personally I think it's just something he pretendsto do and says that he did it in order to sound cool and edgy. Like how he totally thinks he's a werewolf but admits that it's just a fantasy and doesn't believe in any kind of God but still prays to Aphrodite and Kah'less or whatever the name of the Klingon God is.

The only other possibility is that he's telling the truth and that means that for all of his stupidity now, he was twice as stupid before. Which honestly wouldn't surprise me in the least. Jimbo is one of those people that I can honestly see him as being much stupider than he currently is.
