I was never a fan of his content, but he always seemed like a regular, normal guy. I never anticipated that he was capable of this.

If anything, i think the Walkers humored them to their own detriment by dropping popular "acts" like Spoony or engaging in some of their social politics (which is really being down played as one of the contributing factors of their viewership drop).

The way i'm seeing it currently is that the real clique at Channel awesome shit the bed and bailed cause there is no monetary light at the tunnel for them anymore so they're blaming it all on the Walkers and Doug's financial dom for a last bid at relevancy and moral grandstanding. The lesser tier are just being used for filler cause Channel Awesome didn't meet their expectations. All sour grapes. The document is in heavy need of citations and nobody should be taking it at face value in my opinion. I mean watch the shit fling by all means but i just personally don't take these accounts that seriously judging by who they come from and their intents.

This! A lot of this is a complete and utter failure to create a reasonable, viable and controllable business model. Their entire business was recruiting unpaid mildly unhinged deviant weirdo's from the internet to perform a freak show on camera. Wow! Imagine the surprise when your pack of badly screened totally uncurrated mildly deviant weirdo's also has swept up a few major deviants? Or that they are all about as sane and cooperative as a sack of wet cats? CA is was and always has been the virtual internet equivalent of that Oakland Artists Loft that burned last year (killing 33). Same thought process, management capabilities and concept of cause and effect. They trusted the dull but actual important stuff to whoever was willing to do it, regardless of capabilities or psychotic nature.

I can imagine that in the wake of #MeToo there'd be a lot of false allegations to sift through from randomers just trying to stoke the fire. That's what I'm thinking. Only the upper management at Channel Autism knew what really happened with Justin: Kaylyn was a close friend of his, and even she had no idea until recently. You have to be very careful with allegations like these, especially when it involves a dead man who was beloved by the community, so Allison probably thought that the anonymous source was making things up or trolling.

I always felt bad that I never watched JewWario's videos, before and after his suicide. All I heard was how much of a good, kind person he was. Now that this has come out I don't think I can watch them, period.

I expected the half-assed first apology, and from there I thought that CA would wither and die. Instead, Michaud decided to be a vindictive bastard and drag everyone down with him by burning everything down to the ground.

If you told me 5 years ago that everything would have led to this, I would have laughed in your face.

I mean, that's fair. The second iteration of the Not So Awesome document dropped the link to the fan document for inability to verify new claims, so under that logic, it would make sense that she'd ignore the "I was assaulted while I was passed out by a CA contributor" claim. Not to say it was a good idea, but the logic holds up with previous actions.

Either way, all my sympathy goes to throawayimscared and other victims.

At this point, with 20/20 hindsight and a long honed practice of watching and identifying autists, we can safely say that every one of them is derranged, damaged, completely fucked up, and capable of nothing that would surprise us when it hits the police blotter. (Remember Lindsey attempting to bite through a police car a few months back?) Mental Health was not a job requirement or even a resume builder at Channel Awesome.
