Damn, I haven't seen something so glorious unfold in real time since Russell Greer vs Ariana Grande hearing last summer! It’s funny, I used to watch Channel Awesome a lot between 2009-2012 but any sense of nostalgia I had is just overshadowed by this immense clusterfuck. What a wild ride, from start to (almost) finish.
Gotta have a lot of respect for Guru Larry. The guy is an absolute madman, but sticking around for the lulz and making all those digs at the Chicago crew without getting a single drop of muck on him... Bravo, you crazy bastard.

Channel Awesome upper management certainly knew since that's why they fired him. A lot of former contributors claim they didn't know until about two weeks ago when they were compiling the Not So Awesome document.
