I have a male character with comically large hips, named Salvador. His thing is that he constantly tries to make his masculine qualities come out more, even if he's got a ass like a Brick House. But on Tumblr, everyone kept making the assumption he was trans. (I got so fed up I deleted my original account.) So to me, seeing this shit is a definitive "why" from me. Like, why are they purposefully making themselves so damn feminine? Is there a canon reason why? Why even make them male in the first place? Ugh, this website makes my head spin.

Cause they're all girls who are trying indulge their girly side without being laughed at for being "lame".

tumblr refuses to make female characters sexy or sexual, theyll never draw them in booty shorts, crop tops and fishnets. but they love drawing male characters that way
i genuinely looked at this and thought "oh its a guy isnt it" because of how much they love sexuallizing guys, but the world would end sooner than they'd let a girl out the house w her ankles bare for the village men to see

Women can get exposed/prominent veins when pregnant or breastfeeding so uh, make of that what you will.



On a different note, do Tumblr artists not think gyneomastica exists? What do they do if they encounter a male with breast tissue? Yell at him that he's trans because of an endocrine system disorder that he's most likely self conscious about already? They'd probably just assume he's transitioning and end up 'misgendering' him and short circuiting.

I see all these artists draw prominent chest scars to indicate top surgery but they don't seem to realize males can have surgery to remove tissue too? In fact, it's way more common than being trans. (30-40% of males, varying percentages)

What I'm seeing here is a whole fuckin lot of drawing the same face over and over again. ESPECIALLY #1 and second-to-last.
At first glance I thought some of #1's pics were edits or traces of their own work.
#3 clearly has potential but you can see where they're being stifled
#5 is just straight up tracing photographs. Poorly. I wonder how the people in those pictures feel about being given psychedelic rashes.
