Since I'm bored here's an experiment. What the fuck does DSP talk about while playing PUBG. PUBG is ideal for this because there's not really any dialogue in the game so this is all of what he says:
  • PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds April 13, 2018
  • Duration: Approximately 130 minutes (13 videos assumed 10 minutes each)
  • Wordcount: 20,293

It's literally "lets talk about my life or my opinions but pay me 10 bits first"

There's two people of LPers in youtube, the ones that are not less known and do 30min to 3 hours every part, even if it's ripped from Twitch and there's the others that do 10-20mins part and are very known

DSP classifies in the third...a person that still thinks that if he spams every inbox of his subscribers they will eventually click his stuff, little does DSP knows, if his fans don't regularly watch his crap, therefore, they will never receive any notifications from him in the main page (not the upload page) since youtube changed it's stuff, you have to click the bell thing to get noticed now basically

he should focus on minutes watched and slap 2 ads in a 30mins video

Also, people here suggested it would be funny if he played Pathologic, never played but the description of it was funny "DSP would forget to buy something for 500 and the next day it would cost 2000" would literally be the game he would constantly pause and say "nothing i could do" while shaking his head and looking at the stream chat

Yes i agree with all you points. The youtube thing is not good. Yes this is my point. Phil likes games with open world and surprises and loot. You speak about the old game not the new game. It was realized in kickstarter. This would be funny in Twitch. Remember he played Extinction no one likes that. Unless he breaks the game.

If my English teacher saw me speak or write sentences like this, she'd have broken down crying.*

Phil. For god's sake. "The dog is running. IT is still running." USE PRONOUNS.

*Phil-version: "If my um old uh English teacher saw me, like, speak or write *snort* sentences like this, uhhh, my English teacher would have totally just broken down crying, you know? HUH AH AH! Wow. My old English teacher would be like *a mocking imitation of a middle-aged woman echoes into eternity as Phil flails around like a complete bellend - end scene - FIN*"

0 mentions of tax again. Is he editing them out? I know people on here mention him going on about taxes still but is it during gameplay or his second prestream?

Nah, this one I watched the entire pre-stream and he didn't once mention taxes even remotely. His general focus of the pre-stream really was with talking with chat and getting ready for the gameplay it seemed, a rare thing for Phil.

This bloodbore run is going to kill me. I hate the way he says dark souls. He inflects up at the end like it's a question. Dark souls?
The bit that kills me about it is he isn't doing complete shit, aside from people from Tolo's community having a shout that Phil isn't picking up items or is doing exactly what is expected of a first time player (which I personally feel is acceptable to call him since he hasn't touched the game in several years) he seems actually competent with the game - albeit with a load of handholding, which I don't remember him explicitly saying he wouldn't accept.

Someone already answered but I'll give you an extended answer because of the current news surrounding Facebook. Facebook doesn't hold a flame to what Google does:
  • Google is in the business of search
  • Google makes money based upon being able to take things and adding "valuable words" to them which connects users to content
  • Google has probably the greatest machine learning and AI technology of anyone which they invest billions of dollars into that makes all of this possible
  • Google can take a picture and vaguely describe whats in it

That is amazing. Technology man. I don't know what 'Stanky Face' or 'Young Smells' means but it seems pretty accurate!

Yeah, i spoke about the old game, I'm surprised they just now making Pathologic 2, the game is such a cult classic, everyone likes it....DSP at this point should play MMOs, the game will basically provide him content, but even then...."bugged % mechanics dood"

The machines are getting too powerful, they can read our emotions, the only thing left is replicate our emotions, and then we're done for (:_(

I'm pretty certain Tevin had one a while ago.

I've seen plenty of "internet celebrities" and even more normal people with just a few hundred twitter followers have them. Usually they have a few 10-20 dollar "fun" items like mobile phone covers and just dumb shit and sometimes really expensive shit just for the fun of it.

Its the same as a baby shower or wedding reception gift list. If you see a few "normal" items like a toaster or a frypan then its not too bad, but when the list is almost entirely stuff that's $300+ you can usually tell what kind of person they are.

I guess if its just 2-3 items like a TV/PS4 pro/controller or not many items in quantity then its not so bad either.

At the end of the day he can put whatever the fuck he wants on his Patreon goals or Amazon wishlist and people can decide for themselves whether they want to spend that money on him or not.

TBH if I were in his financial position I'd probably have an Amazon wishlist because people are more likely to buy him games and consoles than to pay off his fucking taxes. As bad as this may sound, if there is any "responsibility" he could be legitimately pushing onto his viewers it should be buying games and PSN/xbox gift certificates and he should be keeping his taxes in the fucking background.

And if he had gift certificates for Xbox/PSN up there, its not really that bad. Its the same fucking concept as cheering or tipping. People can decide for themselves if they enjoy his shit and if they want to give him stuff.

Another part of this is Phil is looking at the wrong people. He keeps referring to big Youtubers or internet celebs who occasionally pick up the hottest game and stream it, which is only a fraction of their content. Phil covets their wealth. The type person he should actually be looking at is someone like Dansgaming, who plays new releases, but can also pull in thousands of people while he replays Morrowind on some random week in 2018. Dan is a better model for Phil because Dan makes his living exclusively from Twitch streaming, and he doesn't act like a muppet to be entertaining. But while Dan is doing well, he hasn't got the wealth or life of luxury of the people Phil tunnels on, and so Phil sees "Hot games make you a millionaire!" All while neglecting that he long missed his chance to be like those people because he doesn't do anything else.
phil also realizes that he has absolutely nothing else going for him except conning people who don't know who he is into wasting their time watching him. there's no word of mouth stating he's good at games, he's not known for being an expert at a niche of games, nothing. he has nothing to set him apart. the only reason why he's not at 10 viewers a day is because his fans like his toxic attitude.

I speak in his dsp forum about games especially about the game pathalogic 2. I talked about the demo Pathalogic the marble nest version pc.
:offtopic:woah they made another pathalogic game? fucking neat :offtopic:

i'm sure phil is such a paradox that he by himself will stop the robot invasion

Well made point. The people giving him money know exactly where it went, his detractors can't theorize that he spent it on X when it was for Y. The only people who could point to this being a negative would be the ones that do that about everything he does anyway. For me, Phil being sparing or vague with the truth is one of his worst aspects.

He played BB 3 years ago, it's not even that long. He shouldn't be counted as a "first time player".
