The only problem with completely ending your social media presence is that employers think it's weird if you have no footprint. It's fine if you're well advanced in a career, but if you're just starting out then it's kinda necessary.

One of the reasons I like this site is that in it's rules it makes it clear that a-logging and weening is really just lame, and a huge sign that you're probably a lolcow who is aware of that fact on some level, desperately trying to convince yourself otherwise.
