No, seriously, he's only doing a worst of 2017 list in April.
5. Horizon Zero Dawn
4. 1-2 Switch.
3. Life of Black Tiger.
2. Battlefront 2.
1. Mass Effect Andromeda.
Horizon: Zero Dawn is actually good though. Is he just triggered by the woman hunter?
EDIT: Ah, I pinpointed the wrong section of his autism: his primary source of triggering is a combination of "Why is this game so derivative? (proceeds to guzzle the cock of every 90's game dev)" and his hate-on for The Witcher games.

That's actually not completely unusual for him; his release schedule for these lists tends to be "sometime in the first half of the year". His list for 2016 was posted towards the end of March 2017. His 2015 list was actually posted in January, granted it was in the latter half of January. Same with his 2014 list, and that was the first non-rant video of that year. 2013 didn't even get a list, while the 2012 list was posted on Jan 30, 2013, and 2011's list was posted in Feb. of 2012 (that was also the first year he started doing these lists). However I'm willing to cut him some slack on that because he is producing other content as well, like his "Depths of DS9", "Film Noirchives" and "Music Mythos" vids, alongside his reviews and rants; I can accept that maybe it fell on the back burner alongside the other projects. Honestly, I was under the impression that he might not even bother with a list, as pretty much all of his reviews, with the one MAJOR and understandable exception in Mass Effect Andromeda, were actually positive, so I was pleasantly surprised to see one at all.

Horizon Zero Dawn is hardly a good game. It’s maybe. C+

That's a matter of subjective opinion, but I think it can be agreed overall that declaring it one of the worst games of the year is hyperbolic.
Razorfist's lists have this habit of including mediocre or otherwise unimpressive games and calling them the worst games ever. His number 1 worst game of 2015 for instance was Metal Gear Solid V.

Regardless of how you feel about the game, to call it the worst game of 2015 highlights how few actually bad games he really played. I personally thought it was disappointing, but the worst game of 2015? That's overkill. But Razor just had to stroke his massive hateboner for Kojima in any way he could.

Just like how like 75% of his argument for HZD being bad was "AARGH THE WITCHER III!!!"

His opinions on metal are kind of shit, but I do admittedly find myself agreeing with him more often than not on politics. (Dude is basically a Republican, who lives in Arizona, and yet still hates John Mccain. It really doesn't get more correct than that)

Yes but it doesn't make him less incorrect either. Mind you, he does have some good points, but a lot of those opinions are pretty popular. Laughing at the far-left and dismantling their 'facts' and opinions is like debating with a crack-addled schizophrenic, it's all too easy to make them look like a dumbass and even easier to make them scream and shout at you in sheer, unbridled butthurt.

So Razorfist is just effectively shooting at fish in a barrel. The only real appeal of Razorfist that I see (Mind you, I still tune in every now and then because he CAN, but not often, delivers good content) is his hyperbolic rhetoric and taste in classic games. He is not the first real republican youtuber, and there are a few who can debate much better than him.

Ok

I don't find him particularly interesting at all. He's a cookie cutter "tell your own opinions back to you" sort of youtuber that sits across the political and gaming spectrum. And like his peers he makes himself look like an idiot as much as his fanbase probably does online. So I'd say they are a perfect match. Not saying he gets everything wrong, but he's about as informed as your drinking buddy.

Maybe that's his angle?

I think there was a time when he was just starting to grow that Sargon of Akkad tried to induct him into the skeptics. In his gamergate videos he came across to me as somewhat measured and reluctant to take a side and even openly questioned some of gamergates dogma. Now though i think he came out in favour of GG. As for his persona it is completely malleable. He is the most spineless asshole i have ever seen and when pressured to defend a position he so passionately espoused not the other day he will buckle immediately. Just go look at his first appearence on the Drunken peasants when questions him on his criticisim of TAA. He cant uphold a single aspect of his original argument and folds almost immediatly.

Razor has always been railing against games journalism- he'd been doing a series on it for about two years before Gamergate was even a thing. What's funny is that in older videos on Anita Sarkeesian, he actually admits that he thinks the harassment Anita got was deplorable. Compare that to his video on Vidcon (which is also after he became buddy buddy with Sargon of Akkad, up to the point where Razor got to host a video on Sargon's channel) and he's merrily dunking on her.

Not to mention that random as fuck interlude about serials, which I'm pretty sure is just there to pad the runtime and so he can meet his quota of "One forced reference to The Shadow per month."

I would've thought with prequel references galore, he would've actually liked the movie.

Hey-Ho
Razor went from admitting he didn't hate Force Awakens to considering it one of the worst films in the series within two months once it was clear the anti SJW crowd weren't happy with it. He's spineless.

If he actually had guts, he'd finally get around to making that video that proves the Witcher plagarizes Elric, but he knows he can't conclusively prove shit so he'll stick to making the same, tired and hackney jokes about "Glitcher 3."

Apologies for the double update, but Razor... actually did a game review! And unlike Kingdom Come he actually talks about how the game actually plays!

Amazingly enough, despite spending a third of the review sperging about how the game has a gender-neutral pronoun option and the diversity of the crew, he actually still recommends the game and think it might be his game of the year.
