Huh. Any bets for Sawabia being up in Maine or some other out-of-the-way place? Because that would be incredibly ironic for a great civilization to be there.

All I know is that re-reading this stuff while stoned off my ass is amazing.

*quickly looks up a summary of The Book of Mormon*

I'm not sure that I see the specific resemblances. Can you clarify?

The Book of Mormon states that a group of Israelites fleeing the sacking of Jerusalem sailed across the Atlantic Ocean to America. They then split up into two tribes, the Nephites, who were good and were devout followers of God, and the Lamanites who were evil and were unfaithful to God, and thus were cursed with dark skin because of their lack of piety. The Lamanites eventually wiped out all of the white Nephites, and are believed to be ancestors of modern Native Americans.

Aside the fact that what I just summarized is horribly racist, the Cherokians could be compared to the Lamanites for betraying Graduon, or the Wasabians could be compared to Lamanites since they are ambiguously "evil" in the eyes of Chris in the original Sonichu comics.

I seriously think of Mark Gatha's voice every time I read Kevin's dialogue. I seriously need to lay off pot. *yawn*

I kind of want to do a fan work of CWCollateral with Judge Holden levels of fuckeduptivity, but I think it'll be either too disturbing or too cheesy.

We're talking about you making a fanfiction of a fanfiction of arguably the worst webcomic ever created. As far as I'm concerned, after everything that happened in Operation Hedgeclipper, we're well beyond the fuckeduptivity threshold.

Or make a fanfic about a drug-addled alcoholic disc jockey who totally isn't based off of the person who wrote it. Wait....

STORY UPDATE!

CWCollateral: Sub-Episode 4 (Part B)

-

The tale of Count Graduon's fall plunges to new depths of deception and madness, as the ancient spirit travels to Cherokia to stop the oncoming destruction. The fate of human civilization itself will be decided by his actions, but when the leader of the Cherokian clan calls upon a frightening power from beyond this reality, Graduon must take a stand between this new threat and the species that he guided into civilization. The decision to protect humanity, however, proves to carry heavy consequences. What is Graduon's true purpose? What became of the Cherokian and Sawabian clans, and what ignited the devastating feud between them? And how can these events of long ago possibly affect Kevin Shaw's present situation?

As always, enjoy the update, and let me know if you have comments or criticisms regarding this new part or the story in general. I'm always looking to improve.

And now to watch as Sawabia and Cherokia go down in flames. The higher you rise, the harder you fall.

Ok, I just started reading CWCollateral and I have to say, it's the best damn Sonichu spin-off I've ever read. Granted, that's not saying a lot considering what it's based off of but it just blew me away. The characterization is rich, the lore is incredibly in-depth and the CWC jokes are as plentiful as they are subtle. Seriously, I'm really impressed thus far.

On a side note, I think the reason the violence against the chu larvas works is because they're clearly identified as being evil. The Sonees and Roseys themselves are depicted as being vicious and brutish when given the opportunity and the creatures they grow up to be are just as malevolent.
