I don't know why his god of war playthrough is so effing dull. It is easily his worst; he keeps just retorting did you say that? or take that! Its cringey AF and just bad viewing in general.

Phil has always struggled the most in games that take its setting and story seriously - they don't do his knockoff-AVGN humor any favors.

I don't see how. Watching him cheese entire 30-hour games in near silence, apart from monosyllabic outbursts like "wow" and "all right" is something else. Especially in games like GoW, which aren't really challenging, because that's not what the appeal is. The appeal is the bombasitc action, so Phil cheesing past that every time is him ripping out the entire joy of the game. Watching him play legitimately good games is always the worst, which is probably why nobody's turning up for this one.

In fairness, compared to usual his GoW vids are doing great. Compared to what a AAA release the scale of GoW should be pulling though, well...I'll let you decide.

He should try to be entertaining. I'd be curious to see what that looks like. My bet is more wacky sweaters and arm flailing.

As for Phil knowing what other streamers do, you have to pick the lie and stick with it, Phil. Either you know what other people are doing, you're like them and this is all the detractors' fault, or you never watch other streamers and you are a unique snowflake delivering a fresh take and raw commentary. It simply cannot be both.

Just the first couple of minutes of his GoW playthrough shows you why he's not entertaining. He makes the occasional stupid joke, wonders aloud what's going on every 5 seconds if the game is not actively explaining something, and then when he finally gets to play, he doesn't get to the actual gameplay, he just runs around the tutorial area ("Can I get back over here? No? Ah cahmahn dood! *dicks around for another minute*)

Then when everyone leaves and nobody gives him money he gets mad, and the cycle continues.

I was watching dsp steet figther videos and I noticed he always said "all rigth" at the begini ng of each video,does this happen because he just finish naming the video he is going to upload later on youtube and he has nothing to say so he just says "alrigth" ? Its very annoying,Phil is a creature of habit.

I think he may have a mild degree of autism. I'm not even saying it as a joke or an insult, his repeated and restricted behavior, persistent refusal to change or modify his behavior, and his substantial social impairment are hints that he might have something. Even if he isn't autistic I do think that these are very maladaptive traits that have contributed to his decline in health.

Phil is delusional if he thinks that he can work in any sort of entertainment medium let alone make money off of it. What is he going to do? Work as a stand-up comedian? No, his humor is notoriously awful and he has repeatedly shown that he cannot take criticism. Work as a singer? No, his singing is fucking awful. Professional dancer? Nobody wants to see that. A professional writer? No way in hell does he have the discipline or the creativity to finish a manuscript and again he couldn't take the criticism that comes with the editing process.

He is a talentless middle-aged man with a massive work history gap. Being a bottom tier streamer/youtuber is the only thing he can really do and even then he doesn't do it well. When his youtube/twitch career finally dies, he'll have no choice but to take a minimum wage job and we'll probably never hear much out of him again (outside of gin-fueled twitter rants)

If Phil got suspended from Twitch I don't think he'd be down yet. He'd go back to youtube, desperately trying to recapture the glory days while begging twitch to bring him back. He probably would go back to CT with Mom and Dad, and his negative behavior would get 10x worse.

I'd say aspie. I know this isn't the psychology thread but I don't think he has narcissistic personality disorder or a compulsive lying disorder. I think the inflated ego and lying is a symptom, not a cause. I think he has aspergers disorder had events happen in his childhood that also factored into his personality, mostly to do with how he in an insecure person who has to inflate himself, deny and lie about stuff put on a persona and take people down to combat his own low self worth. Stuff from a spoiled upbringing to a massive culture shock that developed from not getting what he always wants in the real world and the probability of bullying after being coddled for so long and of course, the whole arcade culture he was a part of. He spent every day there and from his stories even though he looks upon it with nostalgia it sounds like a really bad environment for an 11 - 14 year old to be in and he caught a ton of bad habits from there such as the denial he's ever in the wrong and the never his fault always the games fault stuff.

So yeah, I think it's as simple as aspergers disorder mixed with insecurity/low self worth. Everything else is just a symptom, he has a lot of symptoms and coping mechanisms though but they all stem from those two. When you think about all the stuff he's done he's pretty much a very textbook case of someone who's massively underconfident and tries to hide it. Rambo pretty much all but confirmed it when he talked about the time he confronted DSP about all the lies he made about Rambo and DSP apologised and said he's insecure and gets jealous easy and stuff.

I think DSP is completly oblivious to any selfcriticism and dosen't know that he might be the problem.

One day, when he sits on the streets on a cold winter night, freezing his butt off, he will still mumble about how this is the dang dirty detractors fault.

I don't wish bad on people, but the way this is going, sooner or later this will happen.

I'm surprised there isn't more of a red colour to it. You get the red colour from chopped tomatoes. Probably cans of chopped tomatoes as well. Authentic Italians need street smart ingredients after all.
