Jack Z / Jack Jankowski (gave Chris $1,200 for BronyCon, wants to hang out with him there)

It is disturbing that bronies have that much discretionary spending. Like are they normal people? Or is it mostly just a convention full of lolcows who pay for it with their tugboats?

I have no idea, it's really disconcerting. My first guess would be most who got the diamond plan were well off (somehow). If not through their own means then through their families'. My second, and probably more realistic guess is they obsessively saved up all year because they have absolutely nothing else to look forward to in life.

I'd guess the latter, or that a lot of bronies live at home allowing them to save up money relatively quickly.

He's going to invest it in crypto currency. Because there's nothing like turning your real tangible money into Monopoly money.
I'm willing to bet he doesn't have a car either, I feel like a lot of these brony types don't drive. That right there will save you a good chunk of money.

Don't hold me to this, but I thought I read that plan was sold out earlier in this thread. Maybe he would have if it wasn't.

I want to see where Barb sleeps and if the hoard has dwindled at all. Chris' bedroom depresses me now, it's so bare compared to how it used to be. Though I don't think I've seen the entirety of it yet...

This is where Barb sleeps. A mattress on the floor with no bed frame or sheets surrounded by boxes and junk that could fall on her in the middle of the night. And $0 out of the $1200 will be spent getting his mother a proper sleeping arrangement.
I could be wrong, this bed may be used by clover and snoopy while Barb spoons with Chris in his bed that was purchased with @DStecks money.

Jesus, she's practically on the floor with the dog shit.

@Jack Z if you hang out with Chris at Bronycon you should film the entire thing. Just wear a shirt with a pocket and have your phone in it while recording.

I guess Barb likes to live like someone who just got their first apartment. I'm sure that's so she can spend the money she'd spend on a bedframe elsewhere.

They've already worked out an agreement where Chris knows that @Jack Z is going to record him.

The only problem (if you can call it that, lol) is that there WILL be Kiwis there now watching Chris and they WILL also be watching the person awkwardly walking next to/behind him with a camera.

That person will definitely have THEIR picture taken, and most likely be tracked back to @Jack Z.

That's already much less interesting. Though it could result in a lot of RANDOM ACCESS HUMOR I think Chris would be a lot less likely to say or do something stupid if he knows he's being recorded.

My thoughts exactly - he's going to freeze up a little and maybe put on a bit of an act.

That's where the alcohol comes in!

Nah I think Chris is going to kicking it up a notch this year. He didn't know what to expect last year and still did some goofball shit, this year he's already acting like its his convention.

If he even goes - I think it's a 50/50 shot that he blows the money before the time even comes.

10% will go into debt - the other 90 into more toys!

Totally. But at this point I won't sell the guy short on losing and gaining that amount 3x over before the actual event. The guy just made $1,300 in 3 days.

Also I think as far as bronyfest, Chris is overly comfortable in environments he feels at home in. He'll set up shop in game stores and fast food joints like they're extensions of his own room. In that kind of environment, I bet Chris is more outgoing than %90 of the people that would attend this thing.

Perhaps - but also consider he could be reading this very thread and knowing he needs to be a little more guarded.

He's not as stupid as people think - he DOES stalk this forum and even made an account here once.

haha he's made at least two accounts on this forum. And he doesn't give a shit about our finachal investment advice, he only checks this place out when a girl he's crushing on is here.

Not gonna deny that.

So what will I need to do to make it so?
Well, at least you admitted it.

Nobody wants an interview with Chris. If you want to be noticed then offer Megan $1000 (or more) for a low pressure, non-trolling sit down interview. She won't do it (unless she's desperate for money) but you can always try.

Look. You don't have to troll Chris. You would be valuable as the internet's Boots on the Ground guy at bronycon. Post some real time videos of him doing his thing, tell us what he's buying and how much it costs, and do some Q and As here when you're bored.

Like a couple people said, get drunk with him and film how he acts. You don't have to troll him. He's gonna be funny enough without you doing anything special.

And I just don't get you. You bought yourself an in with Chris and you haven't even asked him why he made that video about people in the fandoms hating him. Show him some concern then ask him who contacted him to make him act like that and what did they say? Then come here and let us know. You want to be an interviewer but you don't even have enough curiosity to ask him a simple question. GAWD!
Trolls trolling trolls trolling trolls....

That Doopie shit was crazy.

I often wonder how many other Christorical figures have secret accounts here or at least lurk?

Shit, I've spent a good portion of my adult life following Chris and his antics - why am I here? lol

This is solid advice, @Jack Z .

Maybe Chris is normal and we're the autistic ones. :(

This. There's classes of people in the US who don't really have lofty goals in life. With the nerdy people in that category, most of their life is online, not IRL, so they don't even spend money on going out to eat or spending time with friends.

They work at walmart or in warehouses lifting boxes and they live in little basement apartments. And once or twice a year, they pool their funds and splurge by going to conventions and blowing every last cent they have. Then they return home with bags full of anime girl figurines and hotel bills, ready to begin the cycle anew.

Heh, at magfest, it's groups like that that rent the retardedly expensive atrium suites in the Gaylord hotel. Like $1k/night or some shit.

The fact that Chris has bronycon on the mind is telling. If Chris is worried he might not be able to go, and then someone just gave him a big chunk of money for it, I think Chris will make the decision on whether or not to go very soon. Like in the next few weeks, I would imagine. (Unless things are really dire at 14BC, which they legit might be.)

So when Chris goes over his finances and does a rough estimate of the mortgage in the months coming up, he'll estimate whether or not he can go. He'll buy a ticket and he'll reserve a room. Once he crosses that threshold, then that's it; he's going, come hell or high water.

It's like when he wrecked his PS3 and moved mountains to get another one in a week. He'll make it happen.

The only thing that might screw things up is if Barb is hiding something from him about the mortgage. Like if they get an extra two (one wouldn't cut it, but two might) mortgage payments right before he's about to leave. I don't think Barb hides those things from Chris, but it's a possibility.

Oh yeah. Chris is pretty gregarious at these things.

This meme is p much on target.
he DOES stalk this forum
He doesn't stalk kf. He'll go to kf when an Idea Guy or someone similar says "hey chris, look at this". Or if there's some other reason he needs to get some info, like when Jessica Quinn was active.

The reason is because during the more famous sagas, he'd lurk various forums trying to figure out who's fucking with him. However there was contradictory information everywhere, and the trolls did a good enough job at finding fall guys, to the point that Chris concluded that he wasn't going to find anything illuminating by squatting on the troll haunts.

Reason I know this, is because there'd constantly be speculation on sites like /cwc/ that outright spelled out people's plans. Chris was completely ignorant of that info until we linked the specific post to him. Then he'd flip out "omg what is this???"

I have posted on here (and elsewhere) just completely openly, without filter, because I've never been that worried about Chris finding it. Back then we'd have a troll talking to Chris, and I'd more or less just post about what's going on publicly and nothing ever happened. (We left out the most damning details, but a smart person could figure out what was going on. The threads were pretty straightforward.)

Chris has been checking kf more often than he used to, but even then it's not very frequent.

I know this because Chris unblocked me on twitter a few months ago. I was confused because my twitter account has pickles and stuff on it (like, pickled cucumbers, not dongs), so it's pretty clear I'm some kind of troll. Chris said something like "OK you troll, I am giving you another chance, but do not talk to me for a whole month" and then he unbanned me. Anyway, things were cool for a few months, and I said hi to him at magfest.

Heh, well, after magfest, he suddenly blocked me again. It had taken him that long to notice who I was on kf, and that's why he blocked me. His block message was "I'm sorry [Marvin] but you are too much trollble[sic]".

Weird time to block me. I haven't trolled him in years.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
