It was always a pile of autism, it was just that before it was the "look at me I'm too cool to care about anything, it's cool that I'm eating shit because I'm doing it ironically" brand that's mildly less grating than the completely sincere kind. Also, please explain to me how sperging over pareidoliac visions of Pepe being an ancient egyptian god and autistics requiring lebensraum (these were both aspects of the meme from the beginning) is a satire of multiculturalism.

Kekistan was made as a response to people being told to accept all cultures, especially the refugee kind. Sargon and his buddies thought it would be funny to make up a fake 'refugee' sounding nationality (Hence -istan) that would represent western culture in the form of /pol/ memes. This was mostly not serious, but some folks thought it was some red-pilling godsend, and now it has evidently gotten out of hand.

it went out of hand since day one, because it was invented and pushed by that Sargon nigger.
I remember later in 8/pol/, some faggots tried to do damage control of the situation and thought they could fix it by convincing the little memers that kekistan is actually a word for hell where memer faggots go or some shit.
it obviously didn't work and is now lost to memory.

In the wild, it wasn't much worse than your average political meme. When Sargon started pushing kekistan big time, I figured that the kekistan thing being a somewhat stale meme already was part of some in-joke.
