I am still curious if there is any information on Barbara's siblings or not.

Harriet is apparently still alive but Uncle Tom died around the same time Bob did. No clue about the others. I would suspect they're either dead or totally alienated.

Edit: Quick googling reveals that three of the listed Westons are still alive and all of them are within an hour or so of Barb. I somehow doubt they have talked in the last 20 years.

Not really a surprise by the late 1940s many rural American farms still had no access to indoor plumbing or electricity. Edit: even today some homes in Appalachia do not have access to these things.
Yeah but thanks to Henry Ford, autos were a different story.

What I wanna know is did the whole trailer empty when Chris and his :briefs: walked in for some vidya?

Wow. Just... wow. Barb's family certainly sounds interesting. I suppose it's not surprising that even they don't talk to her. It's also interesting that Barb's family appear to live in the same place their entire fucking lives. And no, I'm not trying to be an a-log here, but there seems to be a trend where young, socially upward people travel around, whether on the state, national or even international level before maybe settling down. The people who stay in the same small town their entire lives... tend to... well not be the best and brightest. Granted, there are exceptions, but still, something to ponder.

Not just America either. There are plenty of rural parts of Canada, Britain, Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Asia and Australia where either electricity, indoor plumbing and phone lines only recently became a thing, or it still aren't all that common. I think it would surprise many Americans, since these places tend to be viewed as 'developed.'

Uncle Tom. LOL. Oh the irony.

That photo always has me scrutinizing it whenever I see it; it always seems like a well edited product of photoshop to me.

It's not 'shopped, and I'm a little surprised people aren't aware of what is depicted here. The trailer with PS3 shit all over it on every side is a promotional gimmick, they drove these around the country and parked them near malls so gamers could get their hands on a PS3 controller before they pledge allegiance to Xbox. It's also not publicly announced where it's gonna be, so Chris put forth at least a little effort finding this thing so he could stink it up for the 3-4 hours he refused to leave it.

What grosses me out about the "Enjoy Vagina" isn't so much the words. It's that it's crass and reduces women to body parts. You know? It's sexist and crude.

Yeah, if we want to know what you like you don't need to tell us on a t shirt, we'll ask. I used to enjoy heroin, you wouldn't have seen me in a t shirt letting the world know this though.

What's the story about this? I'm just seeing the picture for the first time, and didn't find anything about it in the cwiki.

It's a PS3 promotional gaming trailer. This was right before the PS3 came out, I assume a C-Villain spotted Chris' ride there and snapped a pic. Chris must've been inside playing some shitty PS3 launch title like Resistance BEFORE ANYBODY ELSE and stinking the whole thing up with :briefs:

This is precisely why I never play the demo machines in a store.
