Because he's not trying. Just like his DkS redemption run. And his MGS redemption run. He's only doing these runs for money or to piss people off. He cares less than usual imo. But fuck it, he's got more viewers so what else matters?

Micolash Cage, possibly the trolliest boss is kicking his ass. I've seen SoulsBorne virgins beat that boss 1st try. It's legit not difficult. How do you play a series of games for 100+hrs and learn no mechanics? It has to be intentional. There's no way you stay this shit if you're trying to play.

He also keeps repeatedly using items for no reason, accidentally. Not that he EVER mashes or fat fingers anything...

The only thing I can think of is he is deliberately stalling. Either he is hoping for 'interaction' (which isn't coming), he doesn't want to do the DLC, or he is scared having no items left that this is going to be another death and is delaying the runback... I don't even know what this is at this point, but this is weird even for Phil.

His Stockpile of Blood vials is gone, hes running low because of this one boss, if he ends up having to farm for more vials he might just quit since he had such a huge issue with it before.

This is what I like about Soulsborne games though. First time you go up against a boss that everyone says is easy, you have a hard time. Then sometimes you fight a boss that has a tough reputation but wasn't that hard. Every player and every build gets a different challenge.

Am I the only one really bothered by the sound of Phil's button mashing. It's just disgusting, more so during a fighting game, but he just slams his whole fat thumb all over the buttons and you can hear it. For me it's almost as bad as his snorts and burps.

How do people stomach having this guy on in the background of their lives?
