You Know What Grinds My Gears? - Things that personally piss you off

I'm sick of seeing people feeding the ducks bread in the parks. 1) The ducks start going to me when I walk by because they expect food. 2) You're killing them by doing that. 3) You're not even supposed to be in the creeks where the ducks are, you tards. It's trespassing.
I want to get those signs put up that tells you not to feed ducks bread because then people start feeling guilty about it.

The obsession with dog breeds.

I have absolutely no idea what my dogs mixture is and I don't care enough to investigate it but people seem to take personal offense and get disgusted by my not knowing of this information. Of course, that's only a minor part of this. The real rage is the inbreeding and the hellish conditions that "pet-lovers" put these poor animals through to achieve cuteness. All of these "purebred" dogs are inbred freaks and it seems like I'm the only person in the world who sees the state of suffering these dogs live through at a glance.

To be entirely fair, some people adopt dogs and aren't actively contributing the market of creating freaks but even people with adopted pets and mutts assign some kind of prestige to purebred dogs. I'm not even particularly autistic about treating dogs well. I think that people should be allowed to eat dogs if they do it a humane way. However, the people that screech at me about this opinion are in all likelihood fine with people making their pets live in a state of suffering for cuteness.

My opinion about dog eating is less terrible than the mainstream hostility towards dog eating because my stance doesn't endorseneedless suffering, it's about treating dogs like every other mammal.

Jaywalkers really annoy me. This past week, some tard started walking across the road while I'm coming up. He was a good 15 feet from the crosswalk so there was literally no reason for him to jaywalk other than to be a nuisance. What made it worse was that he was wearing headphones so I'm not completely sure he was even aware I was coming close. I had to stop my car and let him through despite this being a fairly busy road.

People at my college do it all the time too. It's like, you realize if I hit you while you're jaywalking, I don't get punished for it and you're the one at fault, right? I don't want to be concerned about stupid pedestrians suddenly bolting across the road while I'm trying to drive. For fucks sake, the crosswalk is there for a reason, hell I'm legally obligated to let you pass when you use them.

People who take the media too seriously. Also soccer moms with bowl cuts, people with anger management issues, micromanagers, and people who don't know what the fuck they're talking about. Most importantly, people who want to take my rights away.

My own inability to think logically. I can't solve problems and puzzles for the love of me, especially if it involves thinking outside the box. Hell, even if the solution is painfully obvious, I can't find it until someone else points me at it. For that reason, I was hilariously awful at mathematics and physics in school.

Sometimes I feel CWC would easily outsmart me.

When people turn off their brain and forget that the past isn't present when making arguments. Dinesh D' Souza's History of the Democratic Party is a good example of this. Another good example is that Mexican guy freaking out about the problematic origins of the word Marijuana.

Former Marines in jobs/leadership positions, specifically retail and children's soccer referees. How these fucktards fail to realize they are no longer in the Marines continues to baffle and infuriate me.

"Once a marine, always a marine"

Its drilled into them that being in the military is their identity and I believe that's why many of them commit suicide after realizing that they've lost that identity.

Of course, being in the military shouldn't even be considered honorable at this point. Literally every war fought by a western country as of late has been for retarded reasons.

Of course, that's not new.

I recently saw a show on television on some channel like Lifetime I think, or something. It definitely wasn't Lifetime, though, since the target audience was very apparently a younger crowd. In the show, the focus was about mid-teen (around 13-17) couples where the girl got pregnant, and it couldn't glorify teenage pregnancy any more than it did. The girl's obviously rich upper class parents do things like renovate entire rooms or add whole wings to their house just for their precious daughter and her child. Meanwhile, her equally rich middle class boyfriend is present for the whole pregnancy constantly showering her in expensive gifts as he's espousing how the pregnancy strengthened their relationship and how they'll be married like a fairy tale king and queen for the rest of their lives. Even when it came time for childbirth, they edited the footage to make it appear painless as the girl calmly states her water breaks and it hard cuts to her gently laying in her hospital bed with her newborn baby after an apparently peaceful and painless labor.

It was infuriating, since it did all it could to suggest that underage pregnancy is a wonderful, magical experience where your boyfriend won't abandon you the moment he finds out you're pregnant, you won't be ostracized by your entire school, your parents will be delighted to support your child with their endless supply of money, and you get to be on a fantastical reality TV show if you're lucky. I've seen shows exactly like that before (and still do)--media that treats horrible life decisions like running away, getting pregnant at 15, or failing school to pursue some fantasy career like being a super model as if they're fantastic ideas and encourages the youth to do these as if they're equivalent to "following your dreams." I sound like some old fogey, but I've been noticing this sort of thing being targeted directly at the age where these ideas seem like genuinely good or enticing choices, and it makes me just steam.
