i feel like marl should come up and say something. iirc, all we've heard from him is an indirect message, spoken through a discord mod to the victim. eevee and glip haven't seemed to mentally age past 13 and can't stick to a story about this, but marl actually had the guts to own up, even if it was in a slightly cowardly way. the victims deserve a further sense of closure, beyond marl saying "i know who this is and i'm sorry", and glip and eevee screeching "lies!!!" as loud as their lungs will allow them before running away. it seems like marl's the only one out of the three with even the slightest sense of responsibility, and if he's reading this, i urge him to come forward and give us his take.

Remember that as soon as Marl found out his apology was posted publicly, Gapow (presumably on his behalf) started backpedaling and saying the logs had to be fake. Confirming that they were real was a clear fuckup on his part; I highly suspect that his real intentions were to somehow coerce bigfluff into declaring him innocent. He may be slightly more mature than the other two, but he's still a complete slimeball.

I’m not sure where, I think it was around the Seeds: War is Hell part of the comic, but I remember seeing some people in the comments of one of the pages talking about how with the timeline changes, it’s possible Furfur did actually rape Min in one of the timelines. Since comments are disabled now they’re gone, but I think they showed a cap from the comic as well to support it, that I’ll try to look for

I was very uncomfortable with that scene, and that was long before I knew about this thread or about Glip's dirty past. There are a lot more effective ways to make a villain manipulative and evil without using an analog for child sexual abuse in what is supposedly an all-ages comic. Min is canonically a child. A lot of actual children read Floraverse. They might not be able to understand what is so inappropriate about this interaction or understand what the real meaning is. It's fucked up to include this kind of content in a comic aimed at children.

A few people who stepped forward with allegations about Marl already said they experienced sexual abuse as children, and I wonder what the hell Glip was thinking when she decided to include that scene. She's fetishized abusing kids so much that she thinks it's totally normal and OK to let that seep into what is supposed to be her all-ages appropriate work. Honestly, she should have just kept doing the porn and not made an abortive effort to start a community comic. She's already failed at it once already with all of her weird porn shit dysfunction.
