Alpha and Omega Fandom - Wolfaboos with a love for shitty direct-to-video sequels.

So apparently Alpha and Omega reached South Korea?
Some of the posters have humans in them and I'm just so confused but I think this image is gold

Yeah, but unlike Food Fight!, Alpha & Omega didn't have it's hard drives stolen and spent the next decade in development hell before being confiscated by a completion bond firm and released as-is.
True. I keep forgetting that they were stolen. Maybe I’ll use Daniel the Dolphin as a comparison.

Why does the wolf look better there than in the actual movie, and why would they have a slightly pudgy Korean dude riding him when humans aren't in the movie very much? I'm so confused.

I have no idea but here's some more posters that had the humans in them:

I was going to point and laugh at how it is they're weird fake ears, but then I realized those might actually be the voice-actors. I can't read Korean, so I can't look up to see who those folks are, but they must be big names if their faces are being advertised alongside the wolves they're voicing.

I looked it up and the faces posted on the posters are (have to be) the VAs for the Korean dub of the movie
If I am to believe the article, their names are Park Gyu-Lee (the boy) and Shin-Dong (the girl)
apparently Shin-Dong is apart of a South Korean musical band thing were she's the only female in the group
unsure about the guy

EDIT:
She seems a bit unhappy/unenthusiastic compared to the guy
which I find hilarious

Hmm, never saw that one

I wouldn't doubt that's what they're doing here. Promoting these guys as the VAs for the main two wolves.

I'm sure dubbing a foreign cartoon takes a lot out of you!

I'm sure The Nut Job proved that as well (if getting a Psy cameo wasn't enough).
That movie... Does it have a fandom? I remember hearing that a sequel was going to happen but never heard anything about it coming out in the year it was supposed to come out. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it does have a fandom that's full of speds.

I'm sure it does. Someone has to glomp onto something to find purpose.

It happened and I am SHOCKED that it was released in theaters.

I watched the first one with a friend and it was... Meh. One character essentially ruined it for me, and you could tell there was a lot of executive meddling. I'm morbidly curious about the second one, though.

Sequel already came out. And subsequently flopped.
Well, I assumed as much.

Not sure if it was funded by the same Korean group they were working with in the first film, but I wouldn't doubt it.

It was a one-shot. The guys who made these movies previously did this short film a decade back and I kept thinking the movies were essentially that, but extended.

You know, if they stuck to what this was originally, a more PG movie about a squirrel and a rat doing the bank heist that was implied at the end, then it might have actually been a good movie. And you know, if they kept that fucking pug out of it.
