Serious question about inclusion in video games...

Would a tranny, SJW or other person you consider improper in their beliefs cause you not to buy...?

If it's not a lecture in game form, then I'm fine to play all kinds of weird things. As long as it is fun.

I don't give a shit who works on a game, as long as they're qualified and the game is good. Hell, put a troon in the game. There's been plenty non-in-your-face troons in games before.

But if you're gonna go the Andromeda route and hire people based solely on gender/skin and the game comes out as a giant piece of shit, I won't spend a dime on that company anymore.

Troon fine because they could be represented in a way that would piss people off anyway. SJW shit depends on what is meant by that, if the script is comprehensive it could be fine if it's shoehorned in then no.
Also if the Devs are known for pushing agendas in social media etc then I wouuld be cautious

I have no problem with having inclusion in a game if it's done well. If it is done poorly and is preachy, then I have a big problem. An example of doing it right is The Witcher 3. Early in the game, you get a quest to kill a griffin. To do it, you need help from a hunter. When you are with the hunter he starts to tell you that he is a outcast and a freak. Geralt think he is a werewolf, but the hunter say he is a freak for being gay. It is a sad story and make you care about the guy.
The bad example is DA:I. I enjoyed the game to some extent but it was very very preachy. One of the character is "genderfluid" and if you question what gender he has, he say that he has neither and if you don't agree with that, you are Hitler.

Please allow me to weave yall an analogy

Imagine a game or movie or book or comic or whatever where one or more of the characters mentioned having to use the restroom....thats it. Just basically somebody saying "ok I gotta go to the bathrom" or such in a scene.

Now imagine a game or movie or book or comic or whatever wherin a character using the restroom was trumpeted throughout the work as a vitally important statement that needed to be repeated and referenced and praised by the good characters/insulted and demeaned by evil strawmen. The fact a character uses the restroom is loudly proclaimed an unprecedented triumph by usual media suspects and marketing despite it being...well just somebody using the restroom, and anybody who criticises the work for any reason whatsoever is declared a disgusting street-shitting bigot who feels threatened by such a brave piece of media.

The fact that examples of the second scenario exist (in this analogy) does not make all examples of the first scenario "tainted TJW (toilet-justice-warrior) propaganda". It doesnt necessarily make it good, since a movie can still be shit with or without referencing shit, but judging it solely because it references something that shitty hack media people like to overblow and glorify in order to make themselves look better is just fucking silly.

I’ll play the game if it’s good. If the devs’ political agenda doesn’t derail everything else, they can put as much of it in there as they want. I’m secure enough in my convictions to have them challenged.

I'm in the same boat, but at the same time I don't like giving assholes money, since I already give them a ton through actually paying taxes

I'm far more concerned with games walling off content with predatory lootboxes and brainwashing people to lust after DLC instead of finished games. If a room full of trannys made a kickass game, maybe I'll buy it. If its shit I won't.

I just remembered an old game that had a gay character in it that I think was done right. It was Phantasmagoria 2 A puzzle of flesh. The main character's best friend is gay and I thought he was handled pretty well. I don't remember him being gay being in your face, he just sometimes talked about a guy he dated. He was written like a person and not token check box.
I remember even feeling bad when he died. I'm sure SJWs would scream about this, even if it moves the story along.

So it can be done right if they are written like people, and I don't think most people would mind.

The bad example is DA:I. I enjoyed the game to some extent but it was very very preachy. One of the character is "genderfluid" and if you question what gender he has, he say that he has neither and if you don't agree with that, you are Hitler.
This is one of the reasons I could never get in to DA.
