This. I watched GamerGate start on 4chan and it was utterly fucking retarded. Immediately the /pol/acks who always jump on shit like this joined in and did their usual schtick, and the brigade of SJW morons showed up and got triggered by it all. Then moot banned it and the shitmods joined in on desperately trying to tamp all this shit down. While this wasn't the only time 4chan has stomped on some particularly unworthy thing (Chanology and ponies are obviously other examples of something they considered cancerous including moot's repeated attempts to shoah /pol/ itself and also remember when moot created a /fur/ board and then deleted it and banned everyone who had posted to it), this was quite clearly heavy handed and politically motivated bullshit. Obviously, moot had just really had it with the site at this point and it was not long after that he sold it off to gookmoot.

Anyway the result was perhaps the biggest Streisand Effect in history and led to a prolonged outburst of autistic screeching that would shatter glass.

Zoe though was not some innocent in all this. She is a long-term troll herself and knew this would be the result and unlike some bandwagon jumper like John Walker Flynt, she had planned at the outset to make money from this and was well positioned to do just that. I am enjoying that some of her suckers are finally realizing she's no victim. That cuck who apologized to her might have been cowed into silence but he knows she's full of shit.
