Might I add to that descriptor, what I recall of his anti-Twitch Era Dyslexicon:
  • Whores
  • Shills
  • Phonies
  • Paid Advertisers
  • Spahnsur'd Trash
  • Nahn-Gamers
  • Fakes
  • Munny-Grabbers
  • Corporate Mauthpieces
  • Interruptions
  • Camsluts

He probably didn't say it in that specific context, but its still the best word DSP uses:

nudnigs

I am just curious, no judgement: I try very hard to avoid giving Phil any views, so I really only watch other people's stuff (Snort Burnell, seriously, I love you.)

Do you guys watch his channels or cheer or tip or subscribe or anything? Why? I can see a few good reasons, such as convenience & seeing things immediately, and perhaps trolling a little, this side of alogging.

I swear to dog this is not me being a smartass*, I just want to know. Don't get unnecessarily shitty with each other, seriously; don't be a faggot.

*this time.

I'm in his chat asking baiting questions. Got him to go on and on about how he can't update his set up and that other famous streamers don't have Phil's set up so it allows them to do fancy things and that his set up is the ultimate one for what he's doing and it is physically impossible for him to do anything with different furniture etc. TL;DR: He is attached to that fucking loveseat.

I will watch his hyped up "special" streams at times (Bloodborne, VRChat, etc) until I can't take it anymore which is between 10 minutes to an hour. I don't chat.
I never watch his YouTube stuff unless it's something I hear through the Twitter grapevine is juicy, always with adblock on and if there's no reupload alternative.

Thanks for replying. Are you trying to accomplish something specific or just entertaining yourself?

I'll pull up his Twitch channel to see attendance every now and then, but when I do I mute the sound. Just can't stand listening to the guy at all anymore unless there is some really outrageous quote I need to hear just to see how Phil said it vs how it reads, and for that i'll wait for others to put up a clip or video. I don't sub to Youtube channels I actually like and paying someone to play a video game doesn't make sense to me, it just makes even less sense when the person being paid is Phil.

Every now and then I'll try and watch his twitch stream to see if he's doing anything dumb, or if the chat is being crazy. Usually I tap out pretty quick because he is just so boring to watch, as he silently frowns his way through PUBG, or stops pauses a game to moan about how unfair life is to him. I really don't know how people sit through hours of him whining and crying to make their videos.

I watch his streams sometimes. I never interact in anyway, but I like to see if I can catch messages before they get deleted from chat.

I won't watch him play fighting games because I think those are boring and Phil doesn't make them any better. I don't care for racing/car games, but Phil's lack of skill in those are hilarious to me. Other types of games are hit and miss - I might check Twitch and catch him saying that he was killed in GOW because a Valkyrie cheated (wut?), or be utterly bored with his game-play and close the tab.

Whenever I can, and remember to do it, I try to listen to his pre-stream, although the tax saga made it unbearable.

I will sometimes tune into his preshtreams because apparently I'm a fucking masochist.

That is a very good point, being able to watch the chat.

I like to pretend it's like being a time traveler; I must not do anything to affect the future of the autism.

That's a sweeping, lolling Hard Nope from this trippy sociopathic peanut nursery.

Unless you count quietly perching in a stream every now & then, watching the r-tard sandbox shenanigans in realtime while making sure I don't accidentally hit the Subscribe button while scrolling, bc AIDS.

Right now it's entertaining to myself. I want to do YT videos on DSP, too, from the angle of being "LightSydeBill" the "good twin" and frame DSP as the "evil twin."

It's probably a super autistic idea, but I think it could be a funny parody to be a 'detractor' that kills with kindness.

No. Watching the edited content feels dirty enough to me because it hits close to having a kind of reality-TV reaction to it, feeling superior to someone who has set the bar so low that there's really no point in bettering yourself. Even with edited content it's good to be critical of the editing whether it's amusing or original with the material so your brain doesn't completely shut off (and as much as you like Snort, I gotta say he's just as frustratingly repetitive as Phil.)

Hey, as long as you're developing a skill while at it (video editing) it sounds like a great idea. Not necessarily the video idea, but the doing itself.

I just got banned from chat for asking phil whats for dinner and when he obviously ignored me (because i refuse to give him money), I said "guess there's no dinner tonight then".

Edit to avoid double-posting: confirmed, kat is dead, rip

Like alot of people I used to be an unironic fan of phil's way WAY back when he used to actually not do it for money for realz. In the sense that he had his helicopter job. Unlike a lot of people I never had a direct falling out or ban from phil I just simply switched to detractor khantent because it was less annoying and more economical than sitting through hours of khantent to find the increasingly rare good stuff and haven't looked back. I understand the need for certain people to harvest the poo to turn into diamonds. I don't really understand the point of financially contributing to him as a detractor or fan, although BSV made an argument about prolonging the drama earlier. I also don't see the point of getting invested in futilely trying to 'save' or make phil see the light and mend his ways like thousands have tried and failed to do over the years. Alotta peepull both detractors and fans make the mistake of trying to seriously reason or get upset with phil in the Pigpen where he has all the power.

Troll way, but be well aware of what you can accomplish inside the Pigpen and outside of it. Slipping trollish fanart he doesn't notice is something that can be done inside the pigpen. A thoughtful point by point breakdown of phils mistakes might be better off outside far from phil's mudhole.

I used to like the days he went full neanderthal on games, i also liked the first wave of e-Begging.

Honestly i keep watching because as soon as i think that i've seen it all when it comes to DSP something new jumps out and SHAWCKS ME!

still funny to me that tevin has more than double the viewers that dsp has right now. pretty pathetic to, you would figure phil would look in the mirror and maybe think its for a reason

but if go into his chat and say anything about tevin its a ban. someone said "wow tevin has more viewers even tho hes only streaming what dsp is doing how is that the case?" anything like that is getting perma'd
