The Barbie collectors I've met have been pretty chill but I think like every fandom there is always one or two batshit folks.

That's literally the worst picture to have if you want someone to buy your stuff. Neth probably can't see it though. She thinks her general attitude is amazing and we all should just deal with it. She also doesn't go by the literal meaning of not judging a book by its cover. If she thinks it's stupid then it's stupid. No giving anything a chance. She's made up her mind before she's even read a single sentence. Neth has a very autistic way of looking at things. She seems to only be able to see things her way and only understands her own likes and dislikes. She has no concept of other people having different views than her own. This is why she's so hard to get along with. She's really rigid when it comes to opinions about anything. Even something as silly as doll clothes. An argument with Neth is probably always around the corner unless you agree with everything she says all the damn time.
I've seen some of the Left Behind movies and I agree it's stupid. But someone out there would enjoy getting those books for free even if it's just to have something to read. Just because you don't like the premise doesn't mean that the books belong in the fireplace Neth. You're judging books solely by synopsis because you can't be bothered to read anything that doesn't revolve around your precious AG dolls or POC protagonists. How do you describe them as POC enough though? Do you need to describe LaTronda's skin as blacker than the depths of space in every sentence? What's wrong with vaguely described characters that anyone can imagine as being any race? You don't even have to be that vague. Just look at Hermione. That's a lot of $100+ dolls for an unemployed individual to be buying. What does the husband do? If she's buying that many dolls he must be busting his ass to pay for them. Even if she gets a disability check for her so-called debilitating arthritis it can't be enough every month to pay the bills and buy dolls by the trunkload.
