Yes, not sharing every detail of your life (:powerlevel is a generally good idea. However, a quote on quote "major change" is not avoiding 1 (in words: one) topic. There was a big change but not the one he's aware of: His never ending greed in each detail of his internet persona, that he turned to the very being he detests. But okay, I'm just punching myself with semantics.

I think he genuinely believes that. Maybe he should watch his own streams and rethink what he is actually doing (he never will), namely reacting to trolls OR donators but nearly never to someone in between, like a normal viewer, a normal fan. And even if that happens, sometimes there is no conversation, just an attempted "Huhuhuhu"-laugh because someone wrote something "funny" OR he just reads a message and stops right after that, with no new thought behind (latest Dead Space 2 streams).

Is this part of the new real life protection? Being a boring, mostly silent couch potatoe? He is so frightened of being himself cuz of the consequences; Twitch could ban him, detractors can spin his words to win. This just shows how his whole personality is not appropriate because he's completely negative charged. I mean, I think most Kiwis in his situation could just avoid talking about real life and shitting on other people, nobody is made of just these 2 topics. Phil should really meet other people outside of his bubble, this is not healthy at all.

Thing I wanna add:
I'm no "toxic mentally broken" or "sick individual" (DSP on the other hand...). I never attacked Kat. I never directly attacked Phil, only criticized him in this Kiwi-forum and below some detractor-vids. So it's obvious his message isn't for me so I should just laugh. However, the twist is: Phil sees every little negative word directed at him as malicious, damaging and fucked up, except you crawl right in his ass and shovel in a big amount of $$$ for his bills. So fuck you Phil for calling me these names, you created your situation alone, you created the monster and can't stop it now. I don't need "serious help" just because I enjoy your shitshow.
But he is right with "insane obsession". I wouldn't be here and vomit my thoughts about him if this wasn't true.

While I was never one to buy into the the whole “Kat left him” theory that is floating around, it does seem plausible. It’s crazy to think that not once since she has been there that she needed him for something and had to pop into his stream and pull him away.

Mix in the lack of cooking and food pictures or any real mentions of her and the story sounds like it might be true. I’m still skeptical though. Regardless I think something is going on. He says he gets 30-60 minutes a day with her and he thinks 3 Days together away from streaming is going to fix the obvious problems they are having? This ship is sinking fast.

At this point, I doubt this is about what he wants to do any longer, but about what he's allowed to do. Dispite our worryings, the little Oni might actually be in a stronger position as we all think and therefore be able to dictate the rules of spilling their private lifes to the detractor crowd. I might be wrong, I'll give you that, but when push comes to shove, I doubt that he would take the risk of losing the Kat, as this would count as an enormous failure with both detractors and followers.

2. Phil did this. I did and still do believe that if Phil had never let the trolls hurt his fragile ego saying his gf didn't exist in the first place and HAD to take pictures of her, not showing her face, he would have never gotten catfished and the entire escort saga probably would have never happened. Now he's sacred the Kat under the bed, and she's not coming out. He knew full well the shit that was going to come from showing her off, but he did it anyway. Remember how he used to shit on the "OTHER YOOTOOBERS" for not sharing their personal lives and he said that made them fake and made them characters unlike him who was real and ahnest and shared everything with him and it's a super personal experience that you get nowhere else and thats what makes his channel better than other youtubers who aren't authentic?
