It's like everyone disslikes ThatDogGuy and Amytivile even the legit fans of phil, that says a lot.

KG have lost the crown to 2 suckpuppets!

What does KG do? He clearly dislikes Phil at this point and supposedly he doesn't like detractors either. Is he that attached to his totally not dumb subtitle under his name?

I think he just likes being around DSP-related drama, but he's too much of a coward to make an account here so he sticks to his dead forums. That does beg the question of why does Phil still allow him to be there?

I do actually think I understand what phil was thinking. But his views are so dated. There used to be a lot of tomfoolery with gaming studios and journalists and reviewers. But today it's sort of a different reality. A few years ago phils comment would have passed as something you could relate to. Because people would probably shill for a game developer in order to get an early copy of a game. To benefit from the hype surrounding it.It's not the same as payed promotion. It's just that phil is so out of touch he can't see the difference. Which is pretty hilarious. You can't be politically incorrect and critique the mainstream when that is what you so desperately try to profit from.

What phil has and that his fans like about him is he is unfiltered and edgy. I don't think people appreciate the greed and laziness to the same extent. And twitch simply doesn't allow such behavior. Phil is also void of joviality and being a happy streamer. Maybe he will find a way to be a bitter saltmine and make it profitable. But boring is not going to work. No one likes boring...

There's also the fact that Phil has happily taken free games early on multiple occasions (Fallout 4, Rockband or Guitar Hero [I forget], Extinction, at least that we know about). He also did a paid promotion for Choice Chamber or whatever. So it's not simply that he busted out the "paid shills" and "true gamer" nonsense, it's that he was hypocritical in the most blatant way possible. If he had apologized and said "I was jealous about not getting on the early access list. My bad.", he would still catch some shit, but it would be mostly done with. Instead, he's played victim and been a passive-aggressive puss about it and will no doubt continue to do the same when he comes back tomorrow. He's so obsessed with not being wrong (in his own mind) that he fucks himself over.

He's still clinging to the "real gamer" bullshit isn't he. Did he NOT rush to play games on release date (I believe he still does doesn't he?) because he wants that click dollar? He doesn't have a house he has a fortress made out of glass which he gleefully catapults boulders from to sate his own ego. He's always trying to sale this reaction crap too. Yup...reacting ot things that literally just happened going "LOOK, WHAT IS THIS, LOOK AT THAT, I GUESS WE'RE GOING HERE THEN" or he's utterly bored in complete silence unless some scumfuck gave him some money for him to read out.

I hate that he thinks he created lets plays. It is beyond delusion, Chris Chans Animal Crossing tour predates Youtube and is 2003/11, if anything he is the creator, he predates Phil by 4 years almost exactly.

Oh God, I just remembered that the Animal Crossing Tour shit was a thing. Jesus, Chris really is the King of the Internet.

:stress:

You might be right but that's still a lot of words for "Phil is 3 years late for the ethics in vidjya bandwagon"

He was one of the earlier people to do them on YouTube and that's it. He somehow thinks that makes him special jumping on the bandwagon early before the huge flood of them came in.

I don't think it's that there was a "bandwagon" to jump on.

Of the possible answers to why DSP started posting gameplay videos in the first place, the correct answer is, as always, the most autistic one:

A dopey guy with a video camera filmed whatever happened to be in front of his video camera, then showed that film to others in the belief that what he filmed was special.

This is how he lands so closely to what Chris Chan did with Animal Crossing.
