Well, many modern interpretations of paganism/magical belief think that all those mythologies are real "from a certain point of view"-usually with some flavor of "the collective unconscious makes these figures real because people believe in them enough". A social worker (or at least one who subscribed to the NASW which is the governing body basically) allows their clients to self-determine and doesn’t push their own beliefs about nonsense shit like made up pronouns. As a social worker you need a thick skin and to suck it up and be a big girl when someone misgenders you.

About this alleged program you’re trying to create: How are you trying to establish this program? What’s the mission statement like? “Community stakeholders” don’t include a couple of your friends who have more labels than sense? How are you going to fund this “program”? Are there already programs and service in place to address this need? Why not pool your resources and help them? Target population? Target area? Where will it be located? Profit or non-profit? Who’s going to run it? A one-man show burns itself out hella quick. Where’s your action plan? Show us a beta of your needs survey and let us critique it. College campuses coddle students to an absurd degree now. The only really educational part left are parts of STEM (including medicine). So basically no one learns to think critically about the majority of subjects, especially sociology and politics. It's gotten worse and worse over the last 15 years. Even law school is becoming a hug box when it used to be a shark tank. "sapphire" is a frighteningly dysfunctional version of a typical college graduate, but she is not so far from the norm.
