It's really amazing how someone who plays videogame everyday (I wouldnt say for a living coz he doesnt play game for a living, he begs for a living) can be this bad at the game

He suppose to open the door while driving to smash zombies on the road, and he opens the RIGHT door for the zombie on the LEFT side of the vehicle at least 10 times, i screencapped one of them

btw that Phil's face tho.............

btw someone asked what Kat is cooking for him tonight, he said he is having frozen Lasagna, it sounds more and more likely Kat has left the house.........

This is the most Phil line I've ever heard. How do you say that out loud and not realize how absurd you sound.

He cant even crouchjump in black mesa, he thought the game had actually broken.

Frozen lasagaa really sounds like thats TV dinner tier, If kat has really left this is just the icing on the cake.

Phil won't play Alpha 3 online. If he does, I'll be shocked. V-ISM will be everywhere if the players are any good. And a good chunk of the roster can infinite off of it. It is part of the reason that there was some small backlash that Alpha 2 isn't getting online. Because for a lot of people, 2 is superior to 3.

Knowing Capcom they probably would have made Alpha 2 Gold have online. A2 Gold is a horrible version of A2 where every character got nerfed and they added Cammy who was stupidly top tier.

But I digress, I'd love to see Phil get infinit-ed in Alpha 3.

DSP is urging people to not buy SoD2 unless they have friends (unlike Phil) to play with, but they should still go to yootoooobe to give Phil views and come to watch him running into bugs again

I think if he doesnt advance the game progress soon this may be another ragequit or no-viewquit

A bit off topic, but I would like to see the PSP version of Alpha 3 ported myself. There actually was an arcade port of that version (called Upper Plus?) that never made it stateside. But I don't really know if there were any fucked up rebalances in that version on par with Alpha 2 Gold. But it would have been worth the $40 price tag for me just to have it in.

I even got a Vita TV before researching it just so I could try and play it on stick. Imagine my dismay to find out that it wasn't compatable.

But back to Phil, I doubt even he is stupid enough to do AI runs of all twelve games. But I have been surprised by him before. That shit will be boring as hell to watch.

''interactive stream": something that isn't too mentally taxing so I can autopilot my way through it while sometimes reading cheers (but not if they're too long, okay).
I've been noticing Phil has been trying to play a lot of "autopilot" style games lately, Pubg being the biggest one of course but other stuff too.

He played just two sessions of Burnout paradise, which he also hyped up and then said "guys I know this game is boring but please, let's make this work, it can be like the new Pubg! We can make it fun when we talk and interact and you ask me questions and we have fun and stuff!"

Then there's Yakuza 6, which is barely cracking 200 views most of the time. If it's got such low views, why is Phil even bothering to play it? It has very long cutscenes and in between gameplay, so much that Phil's even fallen asleep in the middle of it. But again, it's got that "autopilot" feature where Phil can just snooze comfortably knowing somebody will throw him a few coins.

I've never played Black Mesa but does the game really never mention crouch jumping before that, or did he just ignore tutorials because he thought he was so smart?

Im unsure, i havent played it either but for someone like him to be playing such an obscure game like black mesa without ever finding out how/what crouch jumping is in other games baffles me, especially for his age and gaming background, it was a fundimental thing for pc games especially since black mesa was a later game in the series, and i mean, it came out after portal 2, portal itself had crouch jumping, so unless he literally went to black mesa as his first pc game, i dont understand how he dont know that crouch jumping is a thing.

Give him a pass if it was his first game i guess.

Edit: i take it back, message below me, he gets NO pass.

Regardless of whether he shoukd have known, you'd expect a normal person to look things up or try something else, not sit there for 20 minutes pounding the space bar and crying about it.

He'd already played through the original Half-Life, and Black Mesa is just a re-working of it, so he had to have forgotten one of the basic mechanics. The mechanic works (mostly) the same in both games. It's also in the HL1 tutorial.

Believe it or not they removed Crouch Jumping from Black Mesa. I don't know when they did it but it's out of the game now. Why they decided to do this is anyone's guess.

I heard Capcom revamped the World Tour Mode on PSP. Everyone raves how fun A3 was on a casual level. The updated version of A3 (Upper Dash Plus whatever) tried to balance the game but still failed. A3 was sandwiched between bigger titles during the early days of the tournament scene. ST was still being played everywhere. Marvel VS Capcom 1 just came out and was blown the fuck out of the water by Marvel VS Capcom 2. Vampire Savior was out. And then you had Third Strike.

A3 did have some presence at tournaments but it didn't stay around very long. It did lead to this:

A young Daigo VS a young Alex Valle. Valle was Phil's big ST competitor along with John Choi and Tokido. As in, they frequently crushed Phil at ST.

Phil will probably brag about how he was such a big shot at A3 and how he personally discovered an infinite that no one knew about before. Then he'll play online and get destroyed by randoms.
