Personally I like a lot of those games so it would be a shame to see him ruin them but Ozma fight in FF9 would be funny.

You guys think if HL2 wins, he will play it on pc? Cause I can totally see him booting up the console version.

In all likelihood that one's winning precisely because he'd have to play it on PC (and a lot of people know the lore of his crouch-jumping shenanigans.) Playing it on console would be an even bigger train wreck.

HL2 has like no narrative whatsoever, it's going to be another game where viewers complain that they are getting bored. Which may be good since those are the times Cuckingz and the Cheer Squad seems to donate more.

It will be one of those "chill streams" where people can get "interactive".

I am intrigued what in the world you're talking about "no narrative" in Half-Life 2.

Damn, I wonder if this is going to be another of those times when the chat starts to make up their own entertainment and Phil starts complaining that they're not talking about him instead.

i'm surprised at this point, phil doesn't just pause his games every minute and says OKAY NOW TELL ME WHAT TO DO, JUS DONATE 50 BITS TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO NEXT *snort* JUS LIKE TWITCH PLAYS POEKMON, SOUND GOOD?

I think the only reason that hasn't happened yet, is because Phil doesn't want to be that blatant with his e-begging that he'll do troll requests on a regular basis

I don't really get the point of his Patreon choice games because he'll just play them for about 2 hours and then move on. Ever since Persona 3 and Scarface he's refused to really dedicate time to a game. Unless I'm mistaken.

Because the polls are way more stacked than usual. He's going to slide in older AAA games he missed beside more niche titles so he rarely plays them now. Borderline illusion of choice, really. Outside of Jak 3 due to memes, I doubt a Mario Sunshine scenario happens again unless the more popular/notorious choices on paper are total trash.

And it's not like Phil has a bad taste in games. Him picking a game for a poll that we can all enjoy at his expense would never happen, amirite?

A thought popped up in my head:

If Twitch's policy this year is that anyone "directing hate" even on other sites is grounds for Twitch bans, why isn't anyone calling Phil a fat and gouty piece of shit reprimanded? Everyone's already pretty much realized that Twitch doesn't punish people like Phil much because they've bought into that privilege, but not putting strikes on people who call him a turd sounds a lot like they know he's a turd, and going after people calling him a turd would just be a bad idea.

They sure as hell do hand out bans to people who talk shit about streamers on Twitter and the like, but Phil and his hate-base seem to be fucking immune. The fuck's up with that?

Phil isn't a big enough name for Twitch to care. Despite how infamous he is in the tiny circle of people that follow his dumpster fire of a life, he's small time as fuck compared to anyone relevant on the platform.

If he isn't big enough to care, then why isn't he small enough to ban and do away with when so many people complain about his behavior with ample evidence?

I guess it is like the story about the boy who cried wolf.
Assuming Phil gets reported for every little thing he does, it is just a hassle for twitch to filter every complain about him so they ignore it.
On the other side, he is not big enough of a streamer to hurt twitch's income and reputation so they let his mistakes slide.

Long story short:
Dave isn't big enough to matter, but still not worth the hassle of banning him.
