I believe if Tiny Build was the one who got control over Yandere sim and Yandere Dev was just the story writer or scenario writer, we would've been playing it right now.

Yandere Dev should go back to his pee wee coding class for basement dwellers and should let the big boys be in charge.

Even then, the story would be complete trash considering Eva is writing it.

The game is so trash that the main character isn't even a "YANDERE".
YandereDev gives you the option to be cold and a delincuent or whatever, but that isn't at all the point of being a yandere, it's basic knowdlege.
Yandere's act lovely and nice around everyone so no one can suspect of them, and he's completely missing the mark with the personalities, and becoming a delinquent, etc...

His whole idea about Yan-chan being emotionless and void was so cringey. Just like his previous game, he writes over the top edgy characters and expects us to take them seriously.

The whole idea behind yandere sim was to mock anime stereotypes, where a cute friendly anime girl has an unhealthy crush to the point in which she is willing to turn to murder if necessary. Instead, YD decided Yandere chan should be this creepy emotionless girl who is involved with the Yakuza in human trafficking.

All he can do is copy the Yakuza game and the Hitman series.
At least he wishes he could be anywhere close to those games.

You know, even with the yakuza games having stupid plot points like: muh one dragon, muh yume, rubber bullets, lets kill each other to reveal the mastermind, mine flexing wesker out of a building, haruka being a whore and ignoring the guy that was supossed to replace kiryu already (tetsuya)
They still have a better story and make more sense than yandere simulator

Just curious here, has anyone taken the time to reverse engineer Yandere Simulator. As in, getting the source code out of the actual game itself just to see how bad Alex's programming actually is.

Godspeed to whoever tries to get through that. I think i'd start crying before I even got to the middle of it.

This is very interesting, since the number of backers keeps increasing but the actual money keeps going down. Since that first huge jump around the start of 2016, his Patreon money has reached its lowest point three separate times in 2018. Obviously people can't afford to fund his fast food addiction any more, but he never runs out of new kids to sucker to his side. But without ongoing support from actual people with money, he's just gonna fall deeper down the lolcow hole. I bet his Osana video was intended to bring back all the people who bowed out recently, but it's going to have the opposite effect.

This is the first time Alex has revealed his true colors on YouTube. He should've kept his whiny attitude and lolcow personality to Discord and Reddit, which are usually populated with his white knights who don't care what he does as long as he delivers a shitty update every five weeks.

The thing is, with the Jiyu drama, only people in the Discord really knew what was happening. The Discord only has a few hundred members - not even a dent in Yandere Simulator's fanbase. This Osana video and its comment section (or lack thereof) are being shown to hundreds of thousands of people. YouTube is where he gets most of his support from, and now that a large number of people are finally realizing what a whiny little edgelord he is, the Patreon bucks are probably going to drop.

Looks like his annoying fans DID end up harming the game's development after all!

it's 2058. androids have started to work for money. an old man, alex mahan, sits in his parents basement, unaware that both of them have died. he is streaming dark souls XII, and has completely forgotten osana exists. meanwhile, he has implemented several vocaloid characters into his game, not even bothering to change their names. those who were once 12 and are now in their late 40s continue to feed off of the milk of whatever he produces.

this is, of course, hypothetical, assuming he wont run off with the money and that anime sex doll he was going to buy by then.

Literally, the only thing people have asked for since he came out with the rivals is Osana or rival related, they didn't want any of the shit he's added in the past year. He really should just stop and scrap everything he fucking has and start over, it's completely worthless at this point.

Alex's mind: "Oh I know what I'll do. Make a new video telling everyone Osana is literally almost done, despite me repeatedly saying I was barely working on her. I can't wait to see how all my little teenage fans see this."

*continues to disable comments, place where the only support and praise he had came from*

Also, he says implementing the first rival should be like experiencing the final game. If that's the case, how many more months (read: years) do you think it'll be until Osanas release?

Literally everyone here probably knows it should've been finished at least 2 years ago, but unfortunately, we were stuck with this mess of a sandbox build for 4 years and probably will still be for even more to come.

I don't know if this is the /first/ time he's shown his true colors. He's made tons of videos mocking and scolding the fanbase (ie EMAILS). While it's the first time he's gone so far as to disable comments, it isn't the first time he's deleted criticism and openly written off anyone with a negative opinion as a troll or edgy kid. However, I will say it's promising to see his fanbase start to wake up enough for him to just disable all comments. I can't wait to see how this progresses, and if it will affect his patreon bux or not in the long run.
