That's not to take anything away from Marsha P Johnson, but to acknowledge that everyone who was involved in the Stonewall riots and protests turned it into a movement rather than just another isolated case of "queer person resists arrest". It doesn't matter how any of those at Stonewall identified. Nit-picking over it deflects both from their courage and the sense of "we're all in this together" which gave birth to the gay rights movement.

It wasn't Jake, but I saw someone, unironically state on Reddit that blocking them was abusive. Fuck that. Personal autonomy is the fundamental right. You decide what you do with your life. That includes getting to choose whom you do and do not speak with. No one is obligated to talk to you, especially if you're a bottomless pit of neediness that gives nothing back. That shit is exhausting, and can negatively impact your mental health. A lot of the people Jake bothers have mental health issues themselves, and being around someone like Jake can aggravate your symptoms.
