Make a 2-song mashup! - be the DJ of your dreams

I always joked with my college roommate that lady Gaga's telephone and Electric Light Orchestra's telephone line would make an interesting call and answer type song if the beat and pitch could be matched. As is, Gaga's part is just way too frantic.

It's....something... on this thing. :c

"Piano Man" and "the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" already blur together in my mind as an earworm.

The automated mash-up isn't perfect, it speeds up the Billy Joel bits and ends abruptly, but it's a somewhat accurate representation of how my mind blended the songs together.

EDIT: I was curious to see what would happen if I mashed-up two different versions of the same song sung by two different musical acts in two different languages but with very similar arrangements, "Soley Soley", sung in English by Middle of the Road, and "Soleil Soleil", sung in French by Nana Mouskouri (yeah, Lara Fabian recorded another French-language version three decades later but I used the Nana Mouskouri version).

Here it is.. The algorithm seems to favour Nana Mouskouri with Middle of the Road mainly being used for the chorus, which is more or less identical in both languages.

Did you know that "Morning Train"'s original title is "9 to 5" but was changed for the American market to avoid confusion with the Dolly Parton song?

I'm sure this one's been done before.

I didn't know about it until Seinfeld. It is an excellent song though.

That's interesting though, kinda like how that band Yazoo had to change their name to Yaz in America because there apparently already had a group named Yazoo in the U.S.
