edit: so he came out and stated he was depressed then harassed a viewer who says he was depressed too? (optimistic) but will this be the final strike on dsps twitch account? he did harass an actual user in real time

I mean as a cow gets more popular, more weens appear, especially after some major trolling attempts from them. The weens wanna be like "I wanna do that too!" but they dunno how to be subtle.
 
Listening to Phil's description of depression sounds a lot like self awareness or conscience desperately trying to break through and failing by an inch when coming from him.

That was a solid Fei Long and there's not a lot of Fei Long players out there. The thing I found funny is that when Phil picked Balrog and landed the throw, he doesn't go for Rog's 50/50 after the throw. That's a very common Rog mixup. I know Fei can do his flame kick as a reversal but Phil could still go for the mixup nontheless and bait a flame kick and punish it.

Looking at the ST Wiki: http://wiki.shoryuken.com/Fei_Long_(ST)#Vs._Balrog_.28boxer.29:

It doesn't say anything about the Fei/Rog matchup other than it's serious disadvantage for Fei and in Rog's favor. So did Phil just forget about an extremely common mixup that Rog can do or was it Alzeihmers? To put it into some context: forgetting about Rog's throw mixup is like forgetting that Ryu and Ken can throw fireballs.

Phil probably never learned it. He comes off like he mostly just knows the basic elements, then learns like one or two set combos per game he plays for a few characters. He's purely a move spammer that can't really mix-up.

When people call Phil a scrub they aren't kidding. I doubt Phil would know what a "Meta" was if you brought it up to him.

Here's the thing, Phil obviously knows about the mixup. He's fought people who have done it countless times:


I re-watched the video of him playing the Fei player and he straight up doesn't go for the setup and just backs off completely. After Rog does the throw he can cross under and just block. There is no reason whatsoever not to go for it. Except maybe against the Grapplers, I'm willing to bet that they can grab Rog out of it. But nevertheless. It's shocking that he forgot about something so common in the game.

Edit: in watching the entire match you can see Phil getting his shit pushed in by Rog's 50/50 setup. So Phil decides to counter it by using Honda (as I thought, command grabs shut down the setup).

What the flying fuck does it mean what Phil says at 1:51, "It's all lag abuse. And when I say 'lag' it's basically reverse lag!"?!?!?!?!? I lost my Delusional Moron to English translation dictionary. Is he actually trying to say that he is the only player lag is occurring for when it happens?

Phil also keeps screaming, 'NO SUPER!!!! My Super didn't come out because it's the WRONG SPEED!!!!' when he didn't have his Super. He does it at least twice in this one video. How thicc is the prescription on his glasses if he consistently can't tell the difference between a flashing blue icon that says 'SUPER' and a muted yellow & blue meter?
 
genuinly wish i had the autism/foresight to archive dsp related stuff since he deleted the clip i posted where hes an asshole to supermeatboy not that its not out there. guess the gin fueled kiwi thread combing is keeping our boy up.

I tried making something to download clips of his channel and check whether or not they'd been deleted, but the Twitch API won't let you search clips by most recent and searching for every clip that existed missed ones that were clearly listed on the website page. I couldn't figure out how to get it to actually work.

That's generally what he implies with his usual bitching about (alleged) "lag". I mean shit, I've won matches in SFV that were close to being virtual slideshows with the amount of lag that was going on, and I've never seen any kind of noticeable lag in his matches like that.

I also get a kick when he tries to save face by claiming the other person who whooped his ass did so because he was using "online tactics", which begs the question, "why don't you use said "online tactics" too Phil?".

tbh I get what iJustine is saying because the a-logs tweet the screencaps to her constantly. No wonder she's sick of it. She clearly doesn't care what Phil thinks of her but they constantly tweet to her about it and to Twitch support about it and its been like a year.
