Hey, I wrote a couple stories on the booru!

My time there was quite short. I got interested after seeing a thread on /b/ and only stuck around for about a month. Basically, what I can tell you is that the majority of the people I met are no weirder than the people on the CWCki. There was one lolcow on the site for about a week... can't remember his user name, but he made a lot of shitty edits to other people's art, harassed other users, and seemed genuinely interested in fucking fluffies. He got banned.

Most of the stories are about abuse, psychological or physical; some from the point of view of the humans, others from the point of view of the fluffies. Quality varies wildly and depends on the artist/author's skill and interest in exploring the darker side of human nature. Most are just gore fests, but there are a few gems... at least to my taste. I'm a pretty morbid person. Very little of it could count as porn. (Then again, my taste in porn is pretty standard.)

Again, I was only there for a month, but I don't think this is really lulz-worthy. Most of the users I encountered were pretty shitty artists, but they were honestly interested in and welcomed critique.

To normal people, wanting to rape, murder, abuse, and torture pony foals is pretty off the wall. I imagine that it's not to someone who writes about pony rape, murder, abuse, and torture, but to the rest of the world, it's kinda fucked.

There are a few good stories out there, from my experience, but they aren't worth looking for, even out of insane levels of morbid curiosity. If I recall properly, said better stories don't focus on the abuse nearly as much.

I should probably clarify something about that. The denizens of /mlp/ christened themselves "ponyfags" because they disliked the term "brony." Everyone on the board was, and still is as far as I know, interested in distancing themselves from the rest of the MLP fanbase.

My main beef is the artists- and yes, their are some really good artists in the fandom- refusal to keep the porn away from people who don't want to (or legally shouldn't) see it. What they call a "neutral" story based on an experience I had as a rat owner. I explained it in the comments:

That's where the "semi-based on a true story" part comes in. Used to have a pet rat. Sadly, it got cancer. I had the tumor removed (cost was obscene) but it came back pretty fast. Somehow I ended up looking up home euthanasia (I didn't intend on actually doing it) and the methods I found online are the ones that made it into this story. Even the crushing and freezing.

The story is also based off the time my cat brought a live bird into the house (which I managed to rescue), but I wrote the story primarily because the idea of putting a beloved pet in the freezer to die has stuck with me for years. I didn't write this because I enjoyed it, I did it because the subject matter made me uncomfortable.

I dunno if you guys have ever had to put down a pet before. When the time finally came, I put Shenzi (my rat) into a shoe box and gave it to my mom to take to the vet because I couldn't stand to be there myself. Spent about thirty minutes crying over it. I felt like I'd failed this precious little thing that depended on me, even though I should have known it wasn't my fault. It's... really difficult to describe... but I guess you could say this story was partly the product of self-loathing. I've owned three rats and I doubt I'll ever own another, because they have such strong personalities yet only live a couple of years. It was like losing a dog.

This one is a bit different. Someone in the comments wanted to see the baby fluffy suffer, so I wrote it up as an experiment to see if I could take a simple (but dark) premise and make it interesting - that of freezing to death. Eh. Not too proud of this one, to be honest. I went through it in a much more clinical fashion than the previous story.

Before I left I was working on a story about a fluffy pony who assassinates Kim Jong-Un. Someone else on the site pitched me the idea and I ran with it. No torture in this one. I had a lot of fun writing it at first, but after working on it for a couple of days I picked up a different, non-fluffy related writing project and kind of lost interest.
